Great Dealership, very professional employees. Only suggestion is that the banks themselves that Atlantic works with would be as fast and competent as the dealership personnel. I did alot of research on the cars I was interested in. I had consumer reports, AAA and Costco pricing. I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. My Sales person MANNY was FANTASTIC, couldnt have asked for a better one! HOWEVER as i have told the dealership the fiance people need an immediate crash course and intervention on customer service! alo for a better one! HOWEVER as i have told the dealership the fiance people need an immediate crash course and intervention on customer service! along with a large dose of SMART PILLS The dealership needs to change several things. A)INFORM car buyers NO SPARE Tires in 2011 models. B) refrain from USING SALESPEOPLE to prep cars and install plates etc. Takes them away from SELLING and if working with one person and the Car is being delivered to another the salesperson and BOTH parties are not getting the best attention. I researched on line the cars Hyundai offered and choose an Elantra because of the size and priceing.I also know a few people who have the Elantra's. As I was looking around the parking lot John approached me and asked if I needed assistance. He was very patient and listened to all my concerns and what I was looking for. It was also Fathers Day and he didn't rush me at all. John was very knowledgeable and in no time I was in my knew cae. They even took my Durango in for $5oo and I quickly put that money towards a remote start. Kieth in finance was very knowledgeable and took us through all that in no time. I am happy with my new car and will bring it in for the automatic start soon. I will gladly reccomend this dealership to anyone. Sincerely, Mary Leonard More
Overall I had a great experience at the Atlantic Hyundai dealership. The service was exceptional and I definately feel like I was taken care of. I felt Mike understood what kind of vehicle I was interested in without me having to explain exactly what that was. The price was unbelievable and definately the best part of the deal. I actually walked away from the dealership spending less than I expected on a better vehicle than I planned on buying. This was a surreal experience and I definately do not regret purchasing this vehichle. Everytime I look at the car I cannot believe this just happened. It is the perfect car for me and I am happy this is my very first car. This experience was truly amazing and I walk away feeling that I can rely on Mike anytime I need him. More
Salesman was excellent! Mike gave straight information, a great test drive was provided and he was friendly and tried to do his best. He seemed hampered by other aspects of the dealership system in place such as the constant back and forth with managers. He left and returned to the desk a minimum of 30 times sometimes leaving me there for 10-15 minutes. As a customer, waits were far too long between each aspect of the "deal". I arrived at 1:45 with a deal in hand and did not leave the dealership until nearly 8pm! I nearly walked out three times. Other people in the dealership did walk out due to long waits that day. I would have rather come back the next day with an appointment to pick up the car to void such a lengthly wait. There should at least be free coffee/water and maybe a snack-bar for customers who are waiting for such long periods. Aspects of the financing were not clearly defined, particularly fees. I was told by the first financing person that my monthly costs would be based on my daughters credit rating not mine (I have an A rating she a B, she is 21 years old!) and that would raise the price by 21 dollars a month. Ridiculous! When I got up to leave, that idea was changed within five minutes and the deal went back to the original one. This was very disturbing and broke the spirit of a "straight-talking deal". It was unnecessary and will make me very leery the next time I come to Atlantic. There was great service from the young lady who went over paperwork with me. Jeff did a good job in explaining some of the ambiguities of the financing deal. The manager who made the original deal and the one who helped at the end were friendly and did their best to assist. Finally, the car is excellent, my daughter is excited and that what this it is really about. Mike did a great job in creating the sale and explaining the car to my daughter. Atlantic needs to clean up their system in order to provide a more wholesome experience for the customers. The cars now are selling themselves because of the rave reviews, but if that ever stops, Atlantic will need to provide a better customer service plan to keep us all. In fact he was so informative and helpful, that it seemed to "make sense" to get the car. We will recommend Al and Atlantic to all our friends and family. Thank You!!! More
