This is the first time I ever leased a "new" vehicle and being on a limited fixed retirement income, I was apprehensive about obtaining a workable price. Both Jeff and Matthew spent a great dea vehicle and being on a limited fixed retirement income, I was apprehensive about obtaining a workable price. Both Jeff and Matthew spent a great deal of time with me and my son, Mark, who accompanied me. Mark, a longstanding Nissan customer, obtained vehicles for his household and referred relatives to Jamel when he was at Atlantic. Jamel, now at Nissan, Westbury referred us to Jeff since I wanted to check out Hyundai before considering Nissan. Realizing my desire to acquire the Sonata and the critical nature of determining a workable monthly payment, Jeff reviewed options from several different angles including purchase, lease and even a possible alternate vehicle. When the monthly lease amount still created uncertainty for me, I indicated that I would need to discuss with my wife (the primary bill payer). Jeff continued and took initiative to see what he might be able to do for me. After a few more adjustments, Jeff was able to get my monthly payment much closer to a more workable number. Once we agreed, Jeff asked Matthew to continue with the process. He continued the excellent service, making it as painless as possible and was extremely patient with my "senior" apprehension and sometimes amusing questions. He took care of my trade-in title, plate transfer and insurance transfer professionally and with a great smile throughout the process. Jeff completed the Hyundai paperwork with the same customer service and I was soon set to take the vehicle. Matthew then finished the process by giving me an overview of the Sonata's features, and graciously circumvented the ones I probably would not use for a while. Although the entire experience was longer than anticipated, the desire to assist in a customer-friendly manner was much appreciated and the hours flew by. I'm happy with the vehicle and know that I can contact Matthew or Jeff if I have any questions or concerns (Matthew gave me his card). I look forward to three years of enjoyable driving and more excellent customer support. As a former member of the Long Island Better Business Bureau and longstanding Customer Service Manager myself, I commend Jeff and Matthew on exhibiting skills that many companies either ignore or take for granted - skills that are the lifeblood of any business. We went to Atlantic because we were in need of a a good reliable car. also we wanted a car good on gas, with this economy we need to cut wherer ever we can. Atlantic was the third Hyundai dealer that I went to. The previous two would not budge on the price and one was particularly deceptive and I hate being lied to. However, Atlantic Hyundai was very courteous and up front from the beginning. They have the largest selection of vehicles in the NYC area. I highly recommend Erik Tops as a salesman. He was highly professional. If you're looking to buy a Hyundai, do your homework on prices and go straight to Atlantic Hyundai. I wish we went to straight to Atlantic instead of wasting our time at the other two dealerships in Brooklyn and in Queens. More
My wife and I decided to start car shopping this Sunday afternoon(6-26-11) not even a thought, that we would be driving home that evening in a brand new Sonata! My wife always loved the Sonata(she has 2 fr afternoon(6-26-11) not even a thought, that we would be driving home that evening in a brand new Sonata! My wife always loved the Sonata(she has 2 friends that have Sonata's & just always loved the looks of them.) Anyway, to get back to our great experience at Atlantic Hyundai dealership, we were walking around when a very nice gentlemen approached us & asked if we would like to test drive the 2011 Sonata that we were looking at,& of course we did, I asked if my wife could drive (being that the car was for her). She "fell in LOVE"... when we returned, the salesman, Roldy Jeanlouis went over the entire car, answered all our questions, he was not only very thorough, also very friendly. The rest is history.....4 1/2 hrs.later, we were driving away in our brand new 2011 Sonata! We absolutely love our new car. We also would & do highly recommend the Atlantic Auto Mall for all car leasing or buying! And also, if the rating for the salesperson's were on a scale from 1-10, we give Roldy Jeanlouis a 10!!
