Vinny Purrazzella sold me a 2012 Hyundai Elantra on 10/9/2011 at Atlantic. He lacked in customer service. When me and a friend sat down to negotiate a price, he made a comment about this dealership is 10/9/2011 at Atlantic. He lacked in customer service. When me and a friend sat down to negotiate a price, he made a comment about this dealership is not scummy if you say a price we'll match it. Well I said a price and he did not match it. In fact, we were there for a good 1 hr and a half and he still didn't match it. A little bit contridicting wouldn't you think? Anyway he offended me by that. When he finally handed me the keys, the floor mats were missing which was included in the price of the car, the car manual was not there and to top it all off the odometer read 100 miles when the paperwork stated 10 miles (the paperwork was presented to me first which I couldn't take until Tuesday?? and then I discovered the mileage discrepancy). Are they trying to pull something over on me? Do they proofread the paperwork. Now I'm wondering if there are more discrepancies on the paperwork. Anyway, I spoke to John Lane (manager) regarding it and he said he would cut me a check for $18 which is the difference in mileage because I am leasing the car at .20 a mile. I am still waiting for the check. Another issue I have with him is the $300 coupon in which Paige (customer relations rep.) said all I had to do is present it to him. I thought it was a done deal but when I did he denied it. Why? He said I got the car for $169. I didn't get it for that I got it for $189. Yeah he really does his research before talking to the customer. He should accept the $300 coupon based on his stupidity. He doesn't know what he's talking about. Finally the issue with the car mats. When I had the car serviced today (10/21/2011) - go figure a new car already something is wrong with the engine. I'm wondering if it was that 100 miles that they tried to pass off on me as being 10. Something tells me they beat this car up. Hmmmm. Anyway I had to look for Vinny on the sales floor to ask him where the mats were as well as the $18 check and to return the $300 coupon that they didn't accept. After he was talking and laughing with John Lane at the sales desk. He came to me and didn't give me the check and conveniently lost the coupon. That is not I repeat not good customer service. I should not have to look for him to ask these questions he should be looking for me to tell me where to pick up the mats and so on and so forth. I should have stuck to my gut feeling and not have gone to Atlantic Hyundai. This whole experience is disgusting and disturbing. I need to talk to someone that is not going to brush me off like these guys did. I hope someone answers me. I guess I need to talk to the General Manager to reconcile this. More

The only reason I would buy from Atlantic again would be their great prices and Al Levinger. He is an amazing salesman with the patience of a saint. We had been in on Friday to get a price which they put i their great prices and Al Levinger. He is an amazing salesman with the patience of a saint. We had been in on Friday to get a price which they put in writing. When we got back on Monday, the manager (whose name I don't remember) told me there was no way they could honor it. It was in writing and they couldn't honor it. Somehow that is no way to do business. But Dan and Al calmed us down and eventually honored the price. Once the price was honored, the experience was amazing. Al walked us through the process effortlessly and took the time to sit with us in the car and explain each feature one by one. We had a question and he courteously called us back after we bought the car, to try to help us. I would definitely buy from Al Levinger again. Dan Toomey is a wonderful manager. After the sales manager tried to renege on the price, he took us into a private office to discuss it and calm us down. He handled the situation with finesse and proved why he is the manager of this establishment. We traveled from Nassau county to price the car in Suffolk so you can imagine why we were a little upset that they were not initially going to honor the price. But now that the problem is solved, Ican definitely say that when my lease is up, I will go to Al Levinger to research my next car. I only have the car for two days, but I am so happy that I purchased the Hyundai. It is a wonderful car and I love it so far. More
