I have been shopping for a new Kona EV. I have been to three dealerships and this was by far the worst experience. On a phone call the day prior I was told that Atlantic Hyundai has a “pric I have been to three dealerships and this was by far the worst experience. On a phone call the day prior I was told that Atlantic Hyundai has a “price match” and that they are #1 and can beat any deal. So, I arrived with my best offer in hand from one of the two dealers I have been to previously. I sat down with Gary first who aggressively did his speech about how Atlantic Hyundai is the best and that I need to buy a car today. I tried explaining to him that I was just weighing my options and plan to buy one soon but not this day. He wasn’t having it. He picked up my offer and walked to one of his associates offices. He didn’t realize but I could see him in the reflection of the glass door impersonating and mocking me. Of course he denied it although it was obvious. After that his sales manager Lekwa came over to discuss the deal with me. When he came he actually didn’t know what kind of car I wanted or which car I would be trading in. Not only could they not beat the offer I had, it was 2,000$ higher and 1,500$ higher than what was listed on their website. They also use awkward compliments to try to flatter people into a deal. I can’t believe how poorly this experience went at Atlantic Hyundai. More
