How many people can say that they actually love going to the dealership for service where their car was purchased? My Honda Fit Sport is 2 years old. I have visited the dealership for oil changes and each the dealership for service where their car was purchased? My Honda Fit Sport is 2 years old. I have visited the dealership for oil changes and each time it was a great experience. Today, I had an oil change and tire rotation. The employees here are very friendly and happy. They have complimentary massage and manicure while you wait. The wait is always pleasurable. (and I don't generally like to wait) However, they make the wait so easy. I purchased my car from Larry Ellis and could not be happier with his assistance and efficient assistance. When I bring my car in, I usually see Rob Graygor........(service advisor). He makes the paperwork and recommendations quickly and efficiently. The lovely and friendly girls that schedule the service appointments and take care of your bill with you are remarkable. The restrooms are spotless. I love this place and it is run with professionalism and efficiency that is hard to find...or should I say impossible. Keep up the good work Atlantic Honda in Bayshore! Hi, After spending the last four years bringing my 2000 Hi, After spending the last four years bringing my 2000 Honda Accord to a local repair shop I had decided to bring it to Atlantic Honda. The reason Hi, After spending the last four years bringing my 2000 Honda Accord to a local repair shop I had decided to bring it to Atlantic Honda. The reason was the local repair shop could not service what they had diagnosed as a major transmission issue. Additionally the current management did not treat me as a respected customer. I brought my car in the first time with Rob Grayor on May 13, 2013 and I have to say the service was excellent. He had put me at ease because it was not a major transmission issue and there was additional work that needed to done. The total cost for all the maintenance was less than what I would have paid at the local repair shop. On June 11, I was back again and met with Alex Tinnirello, this time my check engine light was on and I had a feeling it was an exhaust issue because the car sounded louder. In the end, the entire exhaust system needed to replaced. I appreciate Alex’s compassion. If anything I have learned over the years is that it is just a car. The car is 13 years old and only 61,000 miles on it. I am the second owner of the car. I just want to say thank you and you have a new customer. When it comes time for me to purchase my next vehicle, I will go to Atlantic Honda first. Thanks, Neil More
I have had a lease with Atlantic Honda since January of 2011. In February I went to get my yearly inspection done at Pep Boys with only 19,000 miles on my car. I was shocked when they told me that I needed 2011. In February I went to get my yearly inspection done at Pep Boys with only 19,000 miles on my car. I was shocked when they told me that I needed front brakes and rotors and failed my inspection. I regretfully declined getting the work done then and there and took it to Atlantic Honda 2 days later. I was relieved when they told me the brakes were fine and passed my inspection (along with tricking me into getting a tire rotation done that I never asked for.) I did some research online beforehand and was reading about many cases of failed brakes and rotors on 2011 Honda Civics. I carpool to work every other week and I know that I am a careful driver and not at all hard on my brakes. About a month later (early last month) I noticed that my car starting making a loud screeching noise when I would put my car in reverse. Over the past few weeks it starting getting worse and worse. I finally made an appointment to take it back to Atlantic Honda. The service adviser Christina that I was dealing with had a nasty attitude from the beginning. I explained to her the situation and she said it could very well be the brakes since I had over 4,000 miles more on the car than when I last took it there. There was apparently no record of me getting my inspection done there in February and less than 2000 miles were put on my car since my last visit. Luckily I had all the paperwork with me including another customers paperwork that they mistakenly gave me attached to mine. I then left and told her to call me when she knew what was wrong with the car. I was doubting it could be the brakes after all that I went through the first time and then telling me that Pep Boys lied to me and were trying to rip me off. Sure enough I got a call 20 minutes later and it was indeed the front brakes and rotors which needed to be replaced which is what I was told the first time my inspection failed at Pep Boys and Atlantic Honda passed it putting my life and others lives on the road endanger. They wanted to tell me that just by coincidence I suddenly needed brakes? Very doubtful. I obviously need to drive a safe vehicle so I agreed to get the work done. I told my father what was going on since he is the cosigner on my lease and he was very aggravated and called and spoke to the service manager and was given a very small discount and he also pretty much told my father that he could do as he pleases and pass an inspection if the brakes are metal to metal. When I went to pick my car up after Christina called me after it was done of course they did not do the complimentary wash which I asked for but I am used to that because that isn't the first time they forgot. Since I had my Pep Boys receipt for my failed inspection with me I asked the girl at the front desk if they could price match (I figured that was the absolute least they could do after inconveniencing me). She said yes that wasn't a problem at all and to go and ask my service provider Christina to reprint my paperwork. I approached Christina and she was huffing and puffing and mumbling as she was walking away to go ask her manager saying "I don't know who the xxxx told her that" under her breath. She would not even have the decency to price match for me because she did not want to miss out on anymore of her commission. I paid $37 for my first inspection at Pep Boys which failed. I then went to Atlantic Honda and spent another $69.53 for my second inspection which falsely passed when I should have been told then I needed brakes and getting aggressively tricked into getting a tire rotation. Now I was just charged another $253.10 when Pep Boys was going to charge $225.97. If the car was decent the brakes would not have already had a problem to begin with. This whole situation has me disgusted! I have been a loyal customer to this company and have never missed a $246 a month car payment on this cheap car that the brakes went bad on at less than 20,000 miles. I feel very disrespected. Horrible customer service was displayed to me today and as soon as my lease is up I will never return to this company and I will advise everyone I know of to do the same. The car is unreliable which is the whole reason I got the lease to begin with because I figured a new car would be reliable, I was ripped off and overcharged and the customer service was awful. More

Bought my car yrs ago. Different staff but same dealership owner well known in the newspaper. Anyway, Had the usual difficulties but not that bad since I think the dealership was new. Of course the dealership owner well known in the newspaper. Anyway, Had the usual difficulties but not that bad since I think the dealership was new. Of course the finance guy at the end tried to pressure me to buy stuff that was not needed. And I said no. He finally relented when the salesman started to freak because he knew I would walk. Slippery paul then tried to get me to sign for a monthly payment that was wrong I had my numbers worked out and caught it. the usual and they'll keep trying. I told them to transfer my plates from the trade in. They did not. So I had to pay their fee for new ones. got me there. Then I got a notice from motor vehicles a year later that I had to re register my old car. Don't know where the plates from my trade in went but had to go to the police station and make a report incase the wound up in an armed robbery. All this is not that unusual and I now started to go back there in the past couple years to get my car serviced. THIS IS MY COMPLAINT. They were unbelievable today. I guess car sales are down so they try to rip people off on service. The police had been there earlier because of another unsatisfied customer. For me they Came up w an estimate of $ 799.00 when there is nothing wrong with my car. The guy ? Rob said he was pulling my car up out front so I could leave when I questioned it. Went to the manager Christine got the estimate down about $ 550.00 . Now $250.00. Stayed annother hour and a half before she came out and said the work was done. Paid left. Realized some of the work wasn't done. Went back spoke to chrisitne who said she wrote done that i would have to come back. Dont think so. Ran onto another customer who said she just came back because her work wasn't done. Then went to the oil change guy to question why they told me 2 weeks ago that I needed power steering fluid when the Atlantic Honda mechanic just told me it was fine. The owner of the oil change place looked with me and the mechanic there. It does need to be changed. This also something that they have done to me a number of times. Tell me the local guy is lying so I keep coming back them. Atlantic and millennium is sleazy as they come. Unfortunate for them I can't reach Honda right now so I have to vent on the Internet. Stay away. More

While I was sitting in the dealership waiting for them to finish the prep work on my car, I got an email from them thanking me for my business and giving me a free car starter. I call the Honda rep who sent me the email letter and confirm that I am getting this, there is no cost, no hidden fees, etc. She confirms that yes, there are no costs at all. Just call, bring the letter with you and they will install it. I make an appointment and drop my car off and give the service guy my letter. Two hours after I drop it off the serve man calls to tell me that the sales manager will not allow me to get the unit installed. I called and spoke with RAVELLE - sales manager and he tells me that I was no entitled to get the letter and that all Honda customers get that coupon sent to them in an email. In fact, if I got the free started it would be double dipping because I came in off the newspaper ads and was not entitled to get the starter. He said it would like getting two 5 cent coupons for milk and trying to get the milk for free. He literally was arguing with me even though I had an email in my hand that stated a free, installed starter. Please note, this is the THIRD car my family bought from Atlantic. The first two were Caddies and now the Honda Civic. When I told him that it was not my loss he said "what do you expect just to give you something worth $397 for nothing?" I said "no, u sent ME the email. I had no idea this was even possible nor did I ask for this. You solicited me and THANKED me for my business while I was sitting in your dealership." I then told him not too worry, I will come down and get my car. With that, he literally hung-up on me without even saying goodbye If this is any indication of how this dealership treats a brand new customer, in this economy - DO NOT EVER BUY OR LEASE ANYTHING FROM ATLANTIC HONDA, CADDY OR ANY OTHER ATLANTIC DEALERSHIP IN NY. I rendered Atlantic's services because this is where we bought the car in spite the fact that there are closer dealers/services in our area. I stayed there for 3 year only because I haven't tried any other bought the car in spite the fact that there are closer dealers/services in our area. I stayed there for 3 year only because I haven't tried any other dealer and not knowing what I was missing. I should have shopped around first! First, prices are too high. I thought this was normal for a dealer's services but after I was able to compare it to other dealers, I had to kick my self for staying with them for so long. At that high price you would think you will get better service! NO! They forget my discounts I always mention at the start of the transaction not just once and I have a feeling it was being done on purpose because it happens almost on all my visits. Car wash is supposed to be complimentary but does wiping the car down and not leaving it wet to dry up with water spots part of the deal? How hard is it to wipe down the car? Once, I went there to speak to a Honda financial representative and guess what, I ended up talking for an hour to a useless sales rep who was trying to con me into swapping my car for a new one. I just asked him whom I can speak to for my business and he took over the show, making me believe he was helping. He is an Asian guy in the floor area. They will make you believe that you need a certain maintenance package even though the car doesn't need it. To give an example (but not accurate), they will tell you that you need a transmission flush at 15,000 even though the official manual says it has to be done at 50,000!) Here is the deal that made me think twice. They offered me a loaner car before when I had a maintenance package done. Great! This week, we will have 3 services done that will take a few hours to do. My wife and I have a tight schedule lately so I told my wife not to worry since we can have a loaner car. Guess what, their policy have changed! We can't have it because it is only for those who have cars that need an overnight job! So they want us to wait for at least 3 hours! I then called a closer Honda dealer and they said that even if the job will only take an hour, we are entitled for a loaner car! I gave a 3 on friendliness only because the Spanish guy who accepts and records the cars are friendly and just does his job. Others, well... I'm not going back to Atlantic Honda again. Their loss since my wife needs a new truck and I'll be trading in mine as well soon. More
