He went above and beyond to assist me Lin I want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding service I received from my service advisor, Di Lin. He went above and beyond to assist me with a major issue on my 2019 Honda Pilot. I’ve been a faithful Honda customer for years—I’ve leased three Honda Pilots and purchased the most recent one after the lease ended during COVID. I also purchased a Honda Accord for my wife in 2016. A couple of months ago, I brought my Pilot to the service department due to a hard shifting problem. At that time, no issues could be diagnosed, and I was told to continue driving until the issue became more consistent or until a warning light appeared. Unfortunately, the problem never stopped, and just recently, the light finally came on. When I brought the car back last week, Di Lin called me with the difficult news that it was a valve body issue and Honda recommended a full transmission replacement. I was frustrated and disappointed, especially since my Pilot had only 108,000 miles and I had meticulously followed every recommended service interval, including transmission services at 30, 60, and 90 thousand miles, all performed at your dealership. Feeling discouraged, I asked Di Lin if he could reach out to the factory representatives to see if Honda could assist in any way. Thanks to his persistence and incredible customer advocacy, Honda offered a very helpful goodwill rebate toward the transmission replacement. Without Di Lin’s proactive efforts, this would not have happened. His exceptional customer service not only resolved the situation but also kept me as a loyal Honda customer. Di Lin truly deserves special recognition for his dedication and care. His efforts turned what could have been a deal-breaker into a reaffirmation of my trust in Honda and Atlantic Honda.
