The saler was extremely nice to me and my family. My family speak very little English so they went in the confident as this guy spoke Spanish and they felt comfortable with him. My dad needed a co-signer in which I agreed to co-sign for my father. I headed to the dealership late and I thought everything was explained to my father and I was just going to be signing my part. We didn’t take the car that day so we came the next day to pick up the keys as they said they would contact the bank in the morning so we can get a lower monthly rate. Which only brought it down like $5-10. I left that dealership with no paperwork, they never explained what I was signing, didn’t let me see any paperwork work besides the Carfax history. I looked around and saw cameras facing the office which is clear windows. If footage is reviewed they only let me see carfax papers. I repeatedly told him I was only going to be the co-sign and straight to my face he said “yes you’re the co-signer”. As he handed the keys to the car he said the papers were going to be EMAILED TO ME‼️ I didn’t look to see if I got them because it was an exciting moment for us. The next day I check my emails as I would like to review my paper work. I HAVE NO EMAILS. I contacted the guy, and they then proceeded to email me a day later. After reviewing my paperwork I notice the car went up double the price after finance , dealership charges, taxes and all that. DOUBLE THE PRICE! I understand finance charges, this is not my first time getting a car from a dealership. I was ripped off really bad. I also noticed that all the paperwork I never ever sign myself had all my signatures as the buyer. Our signatures were copied, dragged and pasted to the documents from a electronic signature that I signed but did not know that one single signature were going to those documents. I never saw these papers ever. Every signature is the same in every document. I continue to text the guy because I was confused and I needed to speak to someone about this. I was not suppose to be the Buyer of this car but the co-signer. Which I repeated to him multiple times. I also told him we wanted warranty for this car and he said we were getting all of that. WE HAVE NO WARRANTY and he said if something happens it will come out of MY POCKET! He tells that he made me the buyer because I have a SSN and a great credit. This was never communicated to me as I was sitting in the dealership that day. I never saw any documents because I was only going to be the co-signer thinking my dad already did it all. My dad tells me later that he never saw a final price that he was only told that it went up about 26k and the car was 16k. The final finance price was more than 33k in the documents. Which is twice the car was sold for. I spoke to my friends dad who is a general sales manager at a dealership for more than 20+ years and he himself said they ripped me off. He tried to help me by calling them and having them take the car back or removing all those extra unnecessary charges that were on the paperwork that I got EMAILED 2 days later. They told him they can’t do ANYTHING because I signed and left. Even after I tried to return the car. They were very rude to my friends father over the phone and says they aren’t doing NOTHING! This is the first time he’s ever been experience someone in the same field speak to him like that and not able to work things out to not create problems. But now I’m writing a review to this place so no one else has to go through this. My experience was a learning experience but I want to be able to help others who get ripped off like my dad and I did. ALWAYS READ YOUR DOCUMENTS AND FINE PRINTS! More
