Found the Mercedes SL55 AMG I was looking for on cars.com (also listed on autotrader.com) and used the link to contact the dealership. The price was one of the lowest listed for a similar used car across the nation. After a few informational emails back and forth with Todd Nowak, we negotiated a reasonable price and I put a refundable deposit on the car since I was about 500 miles away. I found a local German auto mechanic shop (http://www.europeanimportspecialists.com) about 10 minutes down the road from the dealership for a prepuchase inspection in addition to the clean carfax listed on their website. I definitely recommend this shop for prepurchase inspections. They only charge $90 and it was very thorough including a test drive, fault codes, etc. The car had a few scheduled maintenance issues but no major mechanical issues. Todd dropped the car off for the inspection and picked it up afterwards. The next day I flew in to ATL and Todd picked me up in the SL55 so I could test drive it on the 20+ minute drive to the dealership. Went in, signed the papers while the car was being washed up (it was already spotless when I saw it), and was able to drive out within probably 30-40 minutes tops. Overall a great transaction and I would definitely do it again. The 500 mile drive home was awesome and the car is flawless. Thanks again Todd! More
Easiest car purchase ever. No haggling, gave me a great price including the Internet discount which I did not even ask for! Did not waste my time trying to sell me extras, no extra fees or add ins. Fixed t price including the Internet discount which I did not even ask for! Did not waste my time trying to sell me extras, no extra fees or add ins. Fixed the minor problems we found with the car with no hassles. And: I am a single woman! Unless you are a woman you probably won't understand why I feel the need to state that fact: if you are, you get it. Treated me with respect and did not waste my time. Furthermore, I was buying an $11k car: Derrick was fielding calls and questions about an $80k car while I was there and he still made me and my purchase a priority. I will most certainly be back for my next car purchase! More
These folks are awesome! I made a short drive to look at a Honda Civic for my daughter but these guys had the best price on the market hands down. When we came in after work, Charlie worked with us for getting the financing. My credit has taken a little hit in recent years, but they were still able to get us a respectable rate. Over all it was a pain-free experience and now I don't have to worry about what my daughter will take to school! Very satisfied. More

Didn't respond to "quality of work" since nothing was worked on. We did however purchase a hybrid Camry. The car was clean and the price was right. Just wanted to say, that I had read some of the reviews before I visited this dealership. The sad thing about this place, is that they do have some really nice cars and some pretty good prices. The salesma before I visited this dealership. The sad thing about this place, is that they do have some really nice cars and some pretty good prices. The salesman I worked with was actually a pleasure to deal with, David Toms - who took care of me and helped me find a car that was really ideal and perfect for me. Having read the reviews, however, I would not be pressured into the sale off the bat, and made sure to have this car inspected by Mercedes before I purchased. There were a number of repairs that needed to be done, which included tires, brakes, front grill & new middle console. I negotiated the last 3 to be done upon purchase of vehicle and told them I would take care of the tires myself. Done deal!! To give due credit, they did a great job on the front grill and middle console. Now let me explain why they only get 2 stars... the brakes were probably the most vital thing that needed to be replaced as Mercedes said it needed to be done before I drove off the lot and were in desperate need of repair. They had my car for about 3 days, and I was told that I had brand new brakes on my car. I didn't hear any noise, so I assumed and took the dealership at their word. A month later, my brother came to town -- who worked as a mechanic for NAPA for a number of years. He said there's no way these brakes looked new... I took to Kaufman just to confirm this... they said I was driving on dangerous brakes at this point. I tried calling for 2 days, without a proper response, before I could finally get the GM to agree to fix the brakes that were supposed to be replaced the first time. Now get this, the kicker... I finally get my new brakes on and they are squeaking like crazy, so I take this car back to Kaufman to find out what the problem is. As a result of me driving on bad brakes for a month, the rotors have now gone bad. I called to complain that day, but finally just decided I'd had it with this dealership. I fixed the front & rear rotors on my own dime --- $800 later on a Benz... and just cut ties with this place. I still love my car, but would not recommend this dealership at all after all the headaches. The customer service is poor at best, despite a few employees who I feel are just stuck in a bad situation b/c of horrible management. My advice, if you purchase from this dealer, DO NOT sign any paperwork until you have confirmed through your own mechanic that any said repairs are complete before you drive the car off this lot. Like I said, they do have "some" good cars on the lot and some cool looking sports cars, but just make sure that you get everything checked out before you purchase anything from these guys. And also, do not expect any type of customer service at all. I don't expect any response from these guys, but I wish anybody the best of luck who wishes to give this dealership a shot. More
Just bought a 2011 Toyota Tacoma from these guys. Awesome place to buy a vehicle. Low prices and top notch customer service. Buyer beware. I purchased a BMW 645 from Atlanta's Used Cars (2012) in Marietta and what a nightmare it has been. These guys made me feel like I have been cheated and there is nothing I can do. From Used Cars (2012) in Marietta and what a nightmare it has been. These guys made me feel like I have been cheated and there is nothing I can do. From Tom, this is who you will have to deal with when the car you purchased is falling apart, to the sales guy, to the owner. Don't trust them. I believe their prices are lower for a reason. Not the wholesale xx they sell you on, but the quality of their cars. While waiting to test drive the car, I casually talk to a sales guy (who had no idea, I was interested in the BMW) and he tells me the car had an oil leak that they just fixed the week before. I go for a test drive, and there is an engine light on. They tell me they will inspect the car and to come back tomorrow. I get a million calls asking me to come back and the oil leak has been fixed now for sure. I buy the car and the extended warranty AUC's pushes. Big mistake. Not even a month later, I have more oil leaks, and when I call Atlanta Used Cars they tell me to work with the extended warranty company. They offer no help at all. I was asked by Tom, "Well what do you want me to do"? You have to call every day after your purchase to talk to someone, but guess what, they will never be in. The extended warranty company covered a small portion of the oil leak. I had to come out of pocket $1,000 + only one month in. The drama continues. I have had two separate mechanics tell me the engine is on borrowed time. I have a car that I am paying $575 a month for and the dealer won't help, and the extended warranty company wants me to pay $2,000 to take the engine apart. If it's something they do not cover I am out $2,000 plus my monthly car payments. I have had several diagnostics and each tell me the engine is bad. Between my car not starting 30% of the time, to the multiple oils leaks, to the transmission acting flaky, to the engine, to not being able to pass emissions not even a year after I purchase the car. I will have to let the bank come take this car and a credit hit. I will post everywhere I can to warn people. Stay away from these guys. I saw the owner in public recently, and he put his head down and almost ran. Everything I am posting is $100 true and I have documentation to back it all up. I just filed with the BBB and Atlanta Used Cars of Marietta replied with the car was purchased as is. All I am asking for is to take this car back and swap it out with a working car. They don’t want to do that, because they know what they sold me from day one. I should have known there was a reason that this particular model/year of car was cheaper at AUC’s than anywhere else in Atlanta. I am stuck with a car I can’t use and payments of $575 a month. The have a friend who had a similar experience with another dealership in Atlanta, and they took the problem vehicle back and got him a car that works. More
