I went to this dealership to look at a car that I had seen advertised. Prior to that, I had been to several dealerships and had terrible experiences. I have to say that I was dreading going to one more dealership and boy was I pleasantly surprised. I spoke with Joe Coleman by email and phone before ever entering the dealership. I was straight forward about my dislike of dealerships and how I had been treated. He was very friendly and listened to my concerns and questions. When I arrived, Joe was waiting for me and took my right out to see the car, which he had pulled up to the front of the building. We test drove it and he answered all of my questions. He then brought out a specialist (Scott) to show me how all the systems worked. I spent almost two hours in the car with that gentleman who was amazingly helpful as well. After learning everything about the car, Joe and I started talking price. I was trading my car and had been given poor trade-in values at other dealerships. Not only did they negotiate fairly with me on the trade-in but they also looked to find other savings measures like rebates. He even helped me out with the windguard (my car is a convertible). The deal they offered me was not only fair, it was really good. The financing went smoothly and the car was mine. I could not get over just how nice everyone was! There were a couple of items that I wanted done on the car so they gave me a loaner while they got my car ready. A few days later, they brought my car to my house and even set up the garage door opener system for me. I've have had a couple of questions/minor issues since that time and as soon as I call Joe, they've been handled immediately. They are truly wonderful to work with and I would recommend that everyone skip going to the big Atlanta dealerships who lack customer service and go see Joe Colemand at Athens BMW. He is the best!! This have been the absolute best experience that I have ever had in buying a car. I am a customer for life!! Thank you to Joe and the team for making me feel like I was valued and appreciated!!! This was my first car purchase and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Everyone was so helpful and Rick made me feel comfortable about purchasing my first car on my own. I hadn't planned on purchasing the car that day but they made the process so smooth that I felt comfortable making the decision to purchase that day. They were never pushy and made sure they were able to accomidate my needs and get me into the car I wanted. After I purchased the car, Rick took the time to show me more details about my new car and made sure that I knew how to use the features. They arranged employees to drive to Atlanta to pick up my old car for trade-in, bring new floor mats and final paperwork when it was convenient for me and so that I did not have to schedule a time to drive the car back to Athens. I feel everyone went above and beyond and would definitely recommend this dealership and refer friends and family to Rick. More
