Bait and switch I feel as though I am the victim of deceptive pricing tactics by Atchinson Ford's Quick Lane in Belleville, MI. I reached out to Atchinson Ford I feel as though I am the victim of deceptive pricing tactics by Atchinson Ford's Quick Lane in Belleville, MI. I reached out to Atchinson Ford for a price quote for a brake job on my truck and was given a price quote of $389. When the work was done and it was time to pay the bill, amount due was $1,131. After talking with the shop manager he was only able to reduce the price by $164. I reached out to the upper management and owner of the dealership to see what they could do for me. I even offered to pay 20% over the original price quote, but my offer was declined. After emailing back and forth for a week the best they would do was reduce the bill another $200. The total bill after price reductions is $767.00. Over $300 over the original price quote. In a phone conversation with Atchinson Ford's Parts and Service Director I was told that this is the best that Atchinson Ford would do and said that this $200 refund was to show "good will" to me. When I told him I was still unhappy with this he told me that he would "take the offer off the table if I were to bad mouth the dealership." Atchinson Ford currently runs a tv commercial where the dealer owner Craig Atchinson says: "I love the lake. I love the people. I love this town." This is a funny way for a dealer that expresses commitment to the people and this town, yet won't stand behind a price quote. If this has happened to me, I wonder has this happened to others as well? More

I picked up my vehicle today after nearly 3 weeks of waiting and a $4000 bill just to sit and listen to the parts lady say 4 separate times what a nightmare my work order was to the service manager while I was standing 3 feet away.... Well Atchinson, I apologize for being such a "nightmare" by giving you $4000 and waiting 3 weeks for my vehicle but don't worry I will not be back for service or buying any more vehicles from you again. I'm not sure if you realize but you would not be able to open your doors if it wasn't for people like me coming in for service and to purchase new vehicles, so might I suggest you treat your customers with some respect and act like professionals. I would highly suggest going to Blackwell Ford for service, my father-in-law just had $2200 in work completed on his vehicle with a 24 hour turnaround.. On the plus side, Jason in sales is the man, just too bad he's backed by such arrogance... More

Hands down awful experience! The work performed on my 2010 Fusion was not done correctly and required multiple visits. My car had to be taken to another dealership to be fixed properly. Jason Prentiss was the tech that called me regarding the repair and he extremely rude when discussing his findings. I would highly recommend that finds a job where he doesn't have to speak with the public, as he is not able to do so in a respectful manner. It's safe to say I would NEVER Atchinson Ford for service. Atchinson Ford in Belleville, MI charged my girlfriend $504 to replace the ignition coil and spark plugs and fuel filter on her 2003 Ford Taurus (v6). My girlfriend brought it in for service because it wa $504 to replace the ignition coil and spark plugs and fuel filter on her 2003 Ford Taurus (v6). My girlfriend brought it in for service because it was running rough and had reduced power. The service manager called her and said the problem was a bad ignition coil and it could also use a set of sparkplugs. My girlfriend already had a new fuel filter in the car (I was going to put in on this weekend) so she told them to go ahead and put that on too. When she told me the bill I couldn't believe it - $504!!!!!!!!! The charge included $105 to troubleshoot (what did that take - about 2 minutes to plug into the diagnostic port and read the code????) and almost $40 parts costs for the SPARK PLUGS!!!! The $504 charge was just to diagnose a bad coil, and replace the coil, plugs and fuel filter. There was NO other work involved, and no towing, storage, or anything else. Incidently, they also told her she needed a new air filter. That's a complete lie since I already put a new one in a couple months ago and just checked it last week - still clean and white. Luckily she did not authorize the air filter!!!! If you want to get totally screwed then take your car to Atchinson Ford!!! More
