Today I got to experience sexism first hand. I went in with verbal and text documentation of what a price would be, and when I show up, it is a LOT more than what was discussed. MAGICALLY when my husband shows up, the price gets closer to the price agreed upon, but the demeanor changed 100%. I have never felt more undervalued, mistreated and completely taken advantage of. Atchinson Ford provided nothing short of a nightmare. It was a relentless onslaught of false promises and misleading information not honoring any verbal or text communicated information. We diligently followed through on our end of the agreement, only to be met with yet another excuse when it came time for them to fulfill their obligations.But perhaps the most revealing moment came when we spoke directly with the owner, Craig. His cavalier attitude and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction spoke volumes about the culture he fosters within his dealership. His proposition to extend assistance only if we agreed to purchase another vehicle was not only absurd but downright insulting. It was abundantly clear that our worth as customers was directly tied to our willingness to line his pockets with more cash. Adding insult to injury, it became painfully obvious that their mistreatment of me was deeply rooted in misogyny. The moment my husband entered the conversation, their demeanor shifted drastically, suddenly treating me with a modicum of respect they had previously withheld. It was a sickening display of sexism that should have no place in any professional setting, let alone a place of business. If you value honesty, integrity, and basic human decency, I implore you to take your business elsewhere. Atchinson Ford is a cesspool of dishonesty and discrimination.
