I recently bought a new car from Atchinson Ford and am extremely happy with it! I worked with Teri Engel, who was very pleasant and professional. I was a pro by the time I left with my car, and am able to enjoy all the great features it has. I have recommended her and Atchinson to my family and friends, and will go nowhere else ever again. I have been working with Jason Fuchs at Atchinson Ford since 1994. Even after the sale, Jason has always shown an active interest and desire to assist me with my service visits following up whener I nnee since 1994. I really appreciate the no pressure approach to sell me something I did not want and the time taken during deliveries, a no rush approach to answer all of my questons, and spending the right amount of time helping me to learn the features of my new cars. What I like most is Jason isn't pushy, finance department didn't try to push anything I didn't want and I received a tour of the service department. The service department is excellent, they are focused on customer expectations and fixing it right the first time, Bryan Robson has been great to work with. I appreciate the dealership and would never consider going anywhere else, something I do not reccomend lightly! More

Bob Gaffka has always been the sales person I work with beca purchases and service for 20+ years because they are exceptional in everything they do. Bob Gaffka has always been the sales person I work with because we trust him. He is friendly, honest and has always helped us make the best choices. And when we come in for routine service like oil changes and tires etc, he always takes time to say hi and often helps us at the service area when we need assistance there too. I wouldn't go anywhere else. More

Everyone at Atchinson Ford is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like Teri really listened to my needs, and never tried to pressure me into anything I wasn't comfortable with. I purchased a 2013 Ford Explorer from Bob Gaffka in December. The technology is very different from the 2003 Explorer I purchased at Atchinson a decade ago. Atchinson Ford in Belleville, MI charged my girlfriend $504 to replace the ignition coil and spark plugs and fuel filter on her 2003 Ford Taurus (v6). My girlfriend brought it in for service because it wa $504 to replace the ignition coil and spark plugs and fuel filter on her 2003 Ford Taurus (v6). My girlfriend brought it in for service because it was running rough and had reduced power. The service manager called her and said the problem was a bad ignition coil and it could also use a set of sparkplugs. My girlfriend already had a new fuel filter in the car (I was going to put in on this weekend) so she told them to go ahead and put that on too. When she told me the bill I couldn't believe it - $504!!!!!!!!! The charge included $105 to troubleshoot (what did that take - about 2 minutes to plug into the diagnostic port and read the code????) and almost $40 parts costs for the SPARK PLUGS!!!! The $504 charge was just to diagnose a bad coil, and replace the coil, plugs and fuel filter. There was NO other work involved, and no towing, storage, or anything else. Incidently, they also told her she needed a new air filter. That's a complete lie since I already put a new one in a couple months ago and just checked it last week - still clean and white. Luckily she did not authorize the air filter!!!! If you want to get totally screwed then take your car to Atchinson Ford!!! More

I ordered a 2010 Flex on 8/24/09 and was told it would arrive in 4-6 weeks. When 9/24/09 came around and I had not heard a word from the dealer about the ETA on the Flex. I e-mailed around noon when I did arrive in 4-6 weeks. When 9/24/09 came around and I had not heard a word from the dealer about the ETA on the Flex. I e-mailed around noon when I did not receive a reply by 4:00PM, I called the dealership and spoke to him to find out that that they will START building the FLEX I ordered on 10/5/09 which is 6 weeks after I ordered the vehicle and I should get it by the end of October 9-10 weeks after the vehicle was ordered. So now he has offered to look around on other lots to see if he can find me a Flex with the options I want, if he knew there was this kind of delay why didn't he look for a quicker option for me. I know the dealerships have no control over when cars are built but it is there responsibility to keep their customer posted. If I had not e-mailed and called yesterday I am not sure how many of weeks would of went by before the dealer contacted me. I do not feel my sale is any priority to them and they make me feel like a bother to them. If I wasn't so deep into the paperwork and trade-in stuff I would just take my business else where. The dealer knows that this is my first and probably my last time to buy a brand new vehicle so I thought he might make the buying experience pleasurable not miserable. In this economy you would think any of the big 3 salespersons would be extremely helpful when they are about to make a $35000.00 sale. So I gues I just sit and wait with my fingers crossed hoping for the best. Do not go here if you like to feel like your business is important. I regret going here instead of Bill Brown or other dealers close to my house. More
