Atamian Honda

My experience with this dealer unfortunately was not a good one. Their quality of service was the main issue. I purchases a 2006 ridgeline and had to bring it back 2-3 times in the first week for various good one. Their quality of service was the main issue. The part the bothered me was the items I brought it in for were checked as 'passed' on the certification report. The other thing is I had to ask for a copy of the report. I have since learned they are supposed to provide that to you BEFORE you purchase the vehicle. The 2nd or 3rd time I brought in the vehicle the fix they performed wasn't correct (as they didn't test it) and I had to turn around and bring it back again. I started to question the fact if the vehicle truly passed inspection. I opened a service ticket with Honda corporate who asked me to get intouch w/ the service manager at Atamian. After multiple calls, he never once returned my call back. Based on this experience I have learned 1. Get a copy of the inspection report BEFORE You buy. 2. Verify as much as you can before purchase the vehicle that it was actually inspected. 3. Avoid this dealership. I have talked to others who have had similar issues w/ this dealer and it is unfortunate. They have lost any future business from me and my family. On a positive note, the sales team was nice, but I wouldn't expect anything less otherwise they wouldn't be making sales. The real problem I had with this place ended with the service manager just never returning my calls. That is very unprofessional and I would expect more from a Honda dealership. Update 7/27/2009: After posting a review here I was immediately contacted by the dealership in a friendly manner to try to work through this issue. I feel that they really did make an effort to right this wrong and am happy for that. I wish none of this happened in the first place, but it was nice to see the dealer make the effort to make things right. More

I made contact with the dealership via email and within 30 min received quote for the best price they could offer on a vehicle I was interested in. The quote was consistent with Consumer Reports bottom line ($2800 below MSRP) and I did not engage in any additional negotiations. My wife and I were given a vehicle for a test drive on our own and we were able to openly discuss all the pros and cons with no pressure. The dealership employees were very cooperative and courteous throughout all stages of purchase. We never felt rushed or pushed into making any decisions. All the paperwork was done very quickly and we drove away in our new CRV 2 hours after we walked through the doors of the dealership. More

I had a hard time finding the car I wanted but Edwin was so helpful and really cared. Although I was angry when I found out that the specific car I wanted couldnt be located Edwin had taken the time to unde so helpful and really cared. The customer Service at Atamian was an awesome experience for me. I wasn't really looking to buy a new car, was thinking about it for a long time but just went in to look around and wanted to see the Honda for me. I got to look around at the vehicles without being bothered by anybody. Very friendly atmosphere. Everybody commented on my Bruins shirt that I had on. I talked to Kevin in great lengths about the bruins. Everybody was very friendly! I always thought it would take forever to get the paperwork done and everything but I was in and out of there with my new car within 4 hrs! That is great! When i got my other vehicle it took alot longer then that and there was no financing involed in that. Overall experience it was an awesome experience and if i am ever in the need for another car i will go back to Atamian. I will also recommend others to go there. It was a very easy process. All in all, very straightforward and no hassle. I did get a call from a competing dealer (Commonwealth Honda in Lawrence) that I had visited prior telling me that there was a new cash back incentive that just came out and that I could get $1,000 additional off the price but the guys at Atamian said this was not true and that they were just trying to skunk the deal. I was happy with my purchase but it's unfortunate that competing dealers resort to this kind of stuff as it just puts doubt in the buyers mind. More

The model and type I decided on was not available so he worked with others at the dealership to locate the vehicle I wanted, which they found in under 24 hours (I started looking at 4:00 on Sunday afternoon, I knew they had the one I wanted secured by Monday morning).
