This Honda purchase was my fourth in a row, so I guess I am a devoted Honda customer. I also felt I was devoted to Commonwealth Motors up until I made contact with Atamian. The car itself needed no additional marketing or sales information as I knew what it was and what to expect for cost. The personnel at Atamian is what stood out above the rest. William G. was extremely responsive and clear in his approach and numbers (no 'used-car salesman techniques') via the internet and email. I had requests out to 4 dealers via Autotrader.com and William was the only one who responded with actual numbers and in less than 12 hour turnaround. This made a big difference as just getting a response with no real value other than a request to follow up I feel was not an effective use of time/effort. William made quick and valuable contact. In addition to the honest approach by William, the customer service I received at Atamian was certainly continued with Steve Redding. Steve was honest to the point and personable. He spent all the required time with me and my family (2 kids under 6 can be trying). We did not seem rushed in any way. Steve was one of the better salesmen I have experienced in quite some time. In addition to the day of the sale, I came back a few days later (Tuesday evening)to pick up the vehicle. At this point the sale was complete, however Steve took all the time to properly close the deal and introduce me to the cars functions and make sure I was informed and satisfied with the product and Atamian. Steve did an exceptional job positively representing Honda AND Atamian Motors. I have and will continue to recommend Atamian to friends, family and colleagues. The best part of our visit was Jimmie Pritts, who did the paperwork and Jimmie Tringale our salesperson. They were very helpful and friendly. The worst part of our experience was all the stereotypical haggling - we spent hours going back and forth about the price. In addition, I think the $1500 certification fee should be included in the listed price, not an add on after the fact. It's very misleading. Once I made the decision to purchase with Atamian Anthony Delisi, handled the process in an efficient, friendly manner wherein he lead me through the steps and also had me consider my loan through Honda instead of another financial institution. Although Anthony proposed to use Honda for my loan he was not overbearing so leaving me with a clear mind to make a decision -- I did go with the Honda loan. Another gentleman assisted with the approval of the loan and yet another gentleman handled the application process. Atamian's financial agents were friendly and knowledgeable in their presentations. One evening I returned to Atamian without an appointment and everyone was willing to assist me and make things happen; including the service department due to questions I had relating to an idle. Atamian employees are an exceptional breed -- you feel no pressure, relaxed in making decisions - not in haste, they are friendly, professional and knowledgeable -- you could not ask for a better representation. I cannot express enough the outstanding experience purchasing a vehicle through Atamian, other dealership -- not just Honda -- certainly can learn many a thing from the Atamian employees -- they treat you respectfully, professionally and obviously they want to make the sale, but you do not get that sense from your employees which to me is a great quality. I drove away with my new vehicle knowing that if I had any questions, problems I could return without hesitation to Atamian. I would have no problem referring family and friends to Atamian. Our experience was very positive and we enjoyed working with Edwin as our sales person. Atamian's relationship with Costco and the Costco price made our dealings easier. Make sure you say no to the lame aftermarket insurance they try to sell you. The sales guy I got was fantastic, was very honest about the trim levels and whether upgrades are worthwhile. They were the most honest about their pricing, other dealerships I asked refused to match and I didn't even have to enter the dealership to get a price quote. Will definitely refer my friends to the dealership, a bit far for car service, but the cost savings on sales makes it a no-brainer. Choosing a car is stressful enough without having to spend hours haggling over price. They also helped with questions after I received the car. Never enter a dealership unless you already know what their best price is. More
