Unusual experience - speaks to dealer character On the day of pickup, a Sunday, we were packing for a household move 300 miles away and leaving the next day. I wanted to get my Jeep at this dealers On the day of pickup, a Sunday, we were packing for a household move 300 miles away and leaving the next day. I wanted to get my Jeep at this dealership because the ratings were pretty good - it is my first Jeep. Maybe a better choice would have been to wait getting it and then going on an important trip the next day but "what me, worry?" I asked the my sales guy, Larry Sulfridge, to do all the pape work and to call me to do the signing. I did not want to sit around waiting, I just wanted to get it and go. That is exactly what happened. I test drove the Jeep Saturday night, came back in the late afternoon on Sunday, and spent (no kidding) less than 15 minutes in the lease office signing paperwork AND it had extra paperwork because it was a corporate lease AND most of that time was chit chat with the finance /lease guy Fred (who did an excellent, organized, and efficient job). That same delivery day, about two hours after taking delivery and the day before moving 300 miles to a new house, I got an engine light. The dealer mechanics had gone home for the night so my sales guy, Larry Sulfridge, waited at work until after I had it checked out at an Autozone to read the code. He called a dealer mechanic at home to make sure it was good to drive for my big move. Larry gave me his personal number and kept checking on me during the trip and until the problem was completely resolved at a dealer in my new hometown; additionally attempting comms with the new hometown dealership on my behalf. It's not the dealer's fault I got a new car with a one in a million solenoid that went bad. But this dealership stuck by their word at every turn throughout the process and when there was a problem made sure it was resolved, even though I had left the state and was "out of sight, out of mind." A dealership and staff with character I'd do business without reservations. Recommended unconditionally. More
