My recent two trips to Asheville Ford have certainly changed my opinion! My truck F-150 was due a major service, I wanted the work done right so I brought it to Asheville Ford. The service advisors were very patient and thorough as they explained my options. Liz was very helpful! I found out she was relatively new and it was nice to see how her co-worker were supportive her without minimizing her. The work was done very well, the pricing was surprising reasonable. I was very impressed with the quality and value! Everyone was so pleasant to work with from the phone receptionist to the service advisor, as well as the mechanic who explained what he found. The courtesy van and drivers were a great “value add” as well. It was nice to do business with an organization where people are knowledgeable, friendly and appear to truly enjoy their work. Refused to Fix Warranty Problem My airbag warning light was continuously on. I took it to Asheville Ford for a warranty repair. The car was less than 3 years old with about 30,000 My airbag warning light was continuously on. I took it to Asheville Ford for a warranty repair. The car was less than 3 years old with about 30,000 miles. I dropped it off at 8:00 AM, I did not hear from them so I called at about 4:30 PM. The service manager said he needed to talk to me about the repairs. I went over and he claimed my car had been under water and they would not repair it under warranty. The car had never been under water so I called Ford Customer Service. They said they would not force their dealers to perform warranty work. What kind of warranty is that? I took the car to my mechanic it was a wiring harness that went around the searing column. He also said there was not notice of flooding. I will never buy a Ford again or go to Asheville Ford. More
