My situation was a bit unusual in that I had researched the vehicle I intended to purchase (a 2017 Expedition EL) thoroughly and had established two possibilities for purchase - in Asheville or in Columbus OH, since I had relatives in both cities. I had to look outside of my own city of Huntsville, AL, since no nearby Ford dealer had 4WD vehicles in stock and it is too late to order. I showed up with a few questions that needed answering with a test drive. The vehicle I had originally intended to purchase, a Platinum model, had been sold before I arrived in Asheville, but Chis provided a Navigator with the selectable suspension of the Platinum so I could determine whether or not it met my needs. Based on the test drive, I was able to determine the suspension that came with the heavy duty trailer towing package (load leveling) was excellent and better suited for my needs (towing a 23' Airstream). The other unusual aspect of my sale was that I needed to complete the sale quickly once I found Asheville Ford had an automobile on the lot that met all my requirements. It was Saturday and I had to leave early Monday for Bethesda, MD. Chris and your financial team were very helpful and completed the sale quite quickly. Chris offered to provide me a detailed introduction to the vehicle, but I had to pass due to family commitments that day. I have been largely successful in teaching myself the vehicle, but do regret not having the time to spend with Chris as he offered. All in all, a very satisfactory experience. More
