Worst experience at a dealership. Choose another!!!! Hi, I ordered a car for my wife in Mid Jan. 2014. It was to arrive 8-10 weeks later. I called every week from week 6 to week 12 and once every month after. It is now June 2014. My wife was looking online and noticed that the car that we had ordered was listed in their inventory. I called the next day and they said "yes it is here. we didn't have your number". Every previous call ended with "I have you in the system and your car is in que". We were happy that it had finally arrived. I talked to the sales manager and he assured me that the car was there. We live 40 miles away. I told him that my wife was coming to drive it and I would follow later to sign the papers. All sounded great. My wife gets there and there is no car, even after 5 months. The response was that they had sold it the Friday before. I guess that we special ordered such a nice car that they couldn't resist selling it to whom ever popped up first. Maybe 4 or 5 have come in. They straight out lied to me and then said that another vehicle on the lot was what we had ordered. I have never been so furious. If this is what Nissan America chooses to represent them, they may loose many customers to another brand of car. More
I bought a car and it wasn't my first choice, but the salesman seemed to know what he was talking about and encouraged me to go with it. This was my first time purchasing a car and the offer seemed good. salesman seemed to know what he was talking about and encouraged me to go with it. This was my first time purchasing a car and the offer seemed good. I went into the office and they didn't ask me any questions, they just told me where to sign and gave me the overview of what each document was for. I asked about the car warranty and I was told it lasted seven years from the original date of purchase. The first weekend, the car wouldn't start and I had to get it towed. Then safety and warning lights started coming on and even though I have the warranty, I don't have time to visit the dealership every other week. I thought I bought a reliable car. Then if that wasn't enough, I got a letter in the mail revising my warranty dates. Apparently the warranty lasted 7 years from the production date and this took almost a whole year off my original warranty. I asked the dealer about it and they couldn't give me a strait answer. Basically, I got the impression that someone messed up and they didn't want to admit it. They actually looked really nervous. I told them my concerns with the reliability of the car and I even suggested trading it for a different one even though it had been about a month. They showed me other cars and I picked one pretty quickly, but they said the bank was closed and they'd call me tomorrow. After about 24hrs, I became concerned and decided to visit the dealership once again. The manager told me he was still working on it and he'd get back to me, so I went to have a seat and he stopped me and told me to go home because it'd probably be a few days. Why didn't he tell me this on the phone? So after receiving no call for a week, I went back and they said it was too soon to do anything about the problem and I would have to wait six months. This bothered me because I don't want an unreliable car for six months and the value of the car will decrease. This gave me the idea to thoroughly read over the documents I had signed and I discovered an extra warranty that cost about two thousand dollars. When I asked the sales man, he said they should have only added that if I approved it, which I didn't. He looked very surprised and I was able to get it removed and was refunded the amount. Well, it's been six months. I went in and after they beat around the bush for a few days, they just told me I have to wait six more months to trade. I'm furious and plan to sell the car to CarMax. I hate my car. More

I purchased the car in April 2012 due to the fact I need a more dependable car. They told me it had 1 previous owner. The car was in good shape overall. After driving for less than a week I noticed the car a more dependable car. They told me it had 1 previous owner. The car was in good shape overall. After driving for less than a week I noticed the car shook when I put on breaks. I contact them & they told me to bring it back & they will look at. Well, they turned the roters. It was ok for about 1-2 wks & started doing the same thing again. So I contacted them again. They then turned the roters again. It was ok for about 1-2 wks then started again. The proceeded to turn the roters yet again (with an attitude in conversation) Well I finally take it to another shop where they actually drove my car to come to the conclusion that the roters need to be replaced. So that expense comes out of my pocket. To add to the fustration, Driving home 3 wks ago the frame in the driver seat breaks which is estimated to cost $651.00 to fix. Since the car was bought used they GMC Corporate cannot deem it to be a safety hazard. Far as I am concerned I will never buy a car from Asheboro Nissan for myself or my kids in the future. More

I tried the big dealers in High Point and Greensboro and they didn't care if I got a car or not. We almost gave up on Nissan but a friend at work told me she had a good experience in Asheboro so we went there. The place was really clean and neat, they had a lot of cars in stock. But what stood out the most was how friendly they were, and they didn't waste our time. We found just the Altima we wanted and in less than an hour we were on our way home. They even gave us a free 100,000 mile warranty. The owner was named Dan Lackey and he came over and thanked us for our business. We'll definitely recommend them to our friends. More
