Purchased a car in November and still haven’t received the license plate. We’ve called multiple times, but no one has provided a clear timeline. To make it worse, our temporary tag expired on December 2. Apparently the plates were sent to us January 3rd. Now they’re asking us to contact the DMV and post office to file for a lost plate, even though this is their responsibility. We’re forced to get a new plate ourselves. This situation is completely unacceptable and poorly handled. More

I called and inquired about the vehicle. I told the sale guy that I was shopping and looking for the best deal as there are a ton of cars on the market. He said they would do a good deal. I asked them to send me their offer in writing. They did. It was the exact $34,055 on the internet, which is fine, However, they had added about $2,800 of additional items (wheel locks, mud gaurd, protection package etc) not to mention the high documentation fee. I called the sales guy back and told him I did not want the additional equipment. He stated that they did not sale a vehicle without the additional equipment. I asked to speak to the sales manager and he said she would call me. That was about a week age. Low and behold the sales guy calls me this morning. He wanted to know if I was ready to buy the CRV. I told him not with all the additional equipment and that his sales manager never called me. He said she did and I checked my phone and voice mail and I never got a call. He stated they had NEVER sold a vehicle without the additional equipment. He said he had to buy the additional equipment on the car he bought. I told him that was a flat out lie , that I was sure they had sold cars without all this junk. I asked to speak to the sales manager again and after being on hold for a while she finally came on the line. We discussed the situation and she came back with the same line that they had NEVER sold a vehicle without the additional equipment. I told her I did not believe that. I explained they should honor the internet price as stated. She said they would not do that. I asked for the owners name and she said it made no difference who owned the dealership. So, according to NC secretary of state A Mr. Lackey is the listed company official and is a veteran owned business. I would think that Mr. Lackey would like to know how his dealership is treating potential customers. I told the female and the sales guy that this kind of stuff is what gives car dealerships a bad name. Do not trust this stealership!! More

Once I gave him my name, he would hang up on me. This happened repeatedly! He would never contact me back, I have sent emails, left messages, and called. They do their shady business and then don't even have the xxxxx to answer when confronted about it. I have never done business with a company as shady as Asheboro Honda and I hope I never do again. Sales person and finance manager were deliberately deceptive. We were charged for two warranties that we were never told about. The finance guy claimed the sales person put it in not him. He did draw a little chart showing the 10 year/100,000 miles but stated it was an extra $17 a month to the monthly payment. This would have been fine except he failed to mention that $3,900+ had been added to the loan. DON'T ASSUME THAT A BUSINESS IS GOOD AND HONEST JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE LOCAL AND BEEN THERE FOR YEARS. DON'T SIGN ANYTHING IF THEY PULL IT UP ONLY THE SIGNATURE BLOCK AND NOT THE CONTRACT. I love the car but I will never buy from them again. This incident makes me wonder if they target the elderly!!! I'm hoping their service department is better than their sales and finance departments. More
Just wanted to share my great experience at Asheboro Honda last night. On the way home, my Kia with 231k miles finally gave out on me, so knew it was time to buy a new car. Walked in 1 hour before closing at Asheboro Honda and Aaron Bell greeted me. Asked what I was looking for and showed me the new 2024 Accords. Was able to explain all the differences between the different trims and made my decision easy! Not at any time did I feel rushed or not important even though the dealership had already closed by the time I got into finance. Whole process took 2 hours and was out the door with my new 2024 Accord Hybrid 2k under MSRP! So if you're looking for a new car, go see Aaron! He'll take great care of you More
I searched everywhere in a 5+ county radius to find a Honda CRV with all the safety features, in particular the Blind Spot Information System, which is a little harder to find these days. Asheboro Honda had that car and they were fantastic to deal with, and by that I mean engaging, customer oriented - probably the best car buying experience I ever had (and I've had a few cars in my 69 years). I had that car exactly 11 days when an uninsured driver came out of nowhere and hit me while I was sitting a stop sign and my dream car was totaled. Because of the excellent service I got with the first car, I called Asheboro Honda and told them my situation, and that I really wanted a car as much like the one I had just bought a month earlier as possible. Well, lo and behold they told me that a couple of cars would be coming in that would fit the bill. And sure enough, one of the cars was almost a carbon copy of the first one. I was ecstatic! The sales person that I dealt with both the first and the second time around was Oscar Robles and he could not have been more helpful - in terms of customer service, ease of dealing with their team, and overall effort to find the right car for me. I would highly recommend them if you are Honda shopping! More
Never in my life have I dealt with such shady, disrespectful, and immoral people. A car was shared between Asheboro Honda and Chrysler that I was interested in. I extended an offer to Chrysler which they accepted. Chrysler then reneged on the offer and raised the price. When upper management was involved he stated the car belonged to Honda and only they could honor the price agreed upon. Chrysler management contacted Gabe, the sales manager at Honda. Gabe was unwilling to honor the price that had already been agreed upon but was fully aware of my every intention to purchase the car. After waiting for a call back from him for hours he finally called to say that the car had been sold out from under me. He was rude, dishonest, apathetic, and cowardice. I wouldn’t send my worst enemies to this dealer. If I could give 0 stars I would. More
