He helped us compare and contrast the CRV and the Pilot and we were happy with our choice. Ray smoothly handled the details and the timing of the sale was great. I was charged what they termed a “reconditioning fee”or “accessory fee”. This is basically them recouping the cost they put into the car for putting oil in it, cleaning it, putting tires or whatever is necessary to get the car in “condition” to put on the lot. Now, most dealerships don’t do this or have already put this cost into the sticker price of the car. I have bought many cars and can safely say that this is the first time I have ever experienced this. This was presented to me at the end after my salesperson, “Mr Izzy” went to his manager, I believe his name was Joe, and asked for the normal discount on the car. The car was listed at $6500. I assumed this number would come down close to $6000, which is still a fair price, plus tax, title, and license. When he presented his price, it was $6250, plus $897 for the accessory fee, PLUS taxes, title, and license of $1140.54. This adds up to a grand total of $8537.54 for a 2013 Kia Soul. This was presented to me very abruptly at the closing table. No accessory fee or reconditioning fee was ever mentioned. My salesperson also knew that I was working with a $6000 budget to get a car for my daughter, who had just graduated from high school. Honestly, if I had not shopped so extensively for a used car, I was angry enough to walk out and not purchase it, but I was tired of shopping and wanted to make a deal. In the end, we paid $250 of their accessory fees and purchased TTL separately. They also charged a doc fee of $199 and $4 for temp tag, which is normal. In order to get this accomplished, we had to get upset and the sales manager, Joe, had to close the deal. My husband was very angry. I was angry, and honestly it was the worst experience I have ever had in purchasing a car. It ruined my night. We should have been happy coming home and presenting a new car to my daughter, instead we just kept rehashing what had just happened. It’s also important to note that when my husband asked for a breakdown of the accessory fees or reconditioning fee, no specific breakdown of cost was given to us for that particular car. They came back with a sheet that defined what an accessory fee could be - a list of oil changes to fluids etc. He also mentioned when asked about this fee on the sticker, that “they were having problems with their stickers” for their cars. Everyone at the Dealership was friendly, and took proper precautions relating to the COVID-19 safety guidelines recommended. The Finance Manager, Donald Robinson, was very personable and had the paperwork completed quickly. More

Alex called me on Tuesday, April 14th and listed a list of maintenance items that he felt I needed. Just to replace the starter, with a new one was $795 which I felt was way higher than my regulars Team Honda dealership in Baton Rouge. Also, the price quotation on other items was unreasonably high. The attitude by Alex was deplorable. I will never do any business with this dealership in the future. Would recommend Team & Richards Honda dealership in the area for service and sales. Their sales response to a new car enquiry about a year back was pathetic and unacceptable. More

I was at the dealership for over 4 hours, the entire time I remained professional thinking maybe they were running behind. Apparently, it took them so long because they were robbing me. My work bag was located in the trunk of my vehicle and an employee went into the truck (an area that was not being serviced because the oil filter isn’t in there)and stole a large sum of money. When I was made aware of the situation, I promptly notified them of what had happened. I spoke with the representative who sold me the new vehicle and he am told me that he would reach out to management. No response, so I made the call but got no answer. On yesterday I received a call from the service manager who was NO HELP at all. He stated that the cameras don’t hold surveillance footage. I will NOT recommend Tiger Honda to anyone who values their TIME or PERSONAL PROPERTY! I am proceeding forward with the proper steps to ensure that something is done to resolve my experience More
