I typically avoid bringing my vehicles to dealerships or mechanics unless necessary because I often feel that as a woman, mechanics assume I don't know anything about cars. Last time I brought in my Jeep fo mechanics unless necessary because I often feel that as a woman, mechanics assume I don't know anything about cars. Last time I brought in my Jeep for a simple oil change, I noticed a loud noise while driving over 55 mph. I checked under the hood and everything seemed fine.I shouldn't have to troubleshoot issues caused by a simple oil change. It's frustrating to have to deal with this when all I want is routine maintenance to prevent potential engine problems that the dealership would quickly jump to say that because you don't bring your car in for an oils change, we can't warranty the engine.
