Arrigo CDJR Sawgrass responded

Thank you for your review, although we feel your version differs significantly from our perspective. From the Service Director: When the owner came in for a simple front and rear brake pad replacement, we found that the front brake calipers pistons were seizing, which would cause premature new pad wear and possibly uneven braking on a panic stop. The owner was shown this condition and felt the calipers were functioning, only after he used a c clamp and forcefully retracted the pistons himself. It was quite evident these pistons on His 2008 Wrangler were not functioning as they should, and the manager in the best interest of safety, declined to complete the repairs as requested. The vehicle also had an ABS lite on due to the front wheel speed sensors not being able to read correctly, due to a severe amount of corrosion on the front wheel bearing assemblies. This condition could also prevent the vehicle from stopping correctly, which was explained to the owner. A set of aftermarket rims were also supplied by the owner to have installed, but again the wheel spacers provided were not compatible, and would have further contributed to an unsafe vehicle, driving and braking. There was never deception or fraud, as we invited the owner down to demonstrate what we believed to be a severe safety factor, involving the braking system calipers and incorrect wheel spacers that would allow the rims to be off center when mounted to a short wheel base Jeep Wrangler. And since the owner refused to acknowledge these unsafe conditions, it was decided by management not to perform the repairs as requested and there were no charges incurred by the owner.
