**A serious safety issue handled with disturbing indifference** I purchased my 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Arrigo CDJR at Sawgrass and accepted essentially every service and protection contract o indifference** I purchased my 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Arrigo CDJR at Sawgrass and accepted essentially every service and protection contract offered to me because I wanted one thing: peace of mind. I wanted to know that if something went wrong, I could take the vehicle back to the dealership and trust them to handle it correctly. After my experience on August 5 and August 6, 2026, that trust is seriously damaged. On August 5, I arrived at the dealership with the left rear tire at approximately 18 PSI. I explained that it was losing air. I waited about an hour while they supposedly checked it. I was then told that the tire was fine and only needed air. They inflated it to approximately 35 PSI and sent me away. About 20 minutes later, while driving in the fast lane of the highway, the tire had already fallen to approximately 29 PSI and my low-tire warning came back on. I had to work my way through highway traffic, exit, find a gas station, and put more air in the tire just to get home safely. The next morning, the tire was completely flat. That raises a question I still cannot understand: **How does a dealership service department inspect a tire that arrives at 18 PSI and fail to identify a leak severe enough to lose approximately 6 PSI in 20 minutes?** I returned to Arrigo on August 6 and explained exactly what had happened. What concerned me almost as much as the original missed diagnosis was the apparent lack of concern about the safety implications. I spoke directly with the Service Manager. During the approximately 2 hours I then waited at the dealership, he checked with me once. I received no meaningful explanation of how the first inspection had failed and no indication that anyone considered the previous day's situation particularly serious. After approximately 2 hours, I finally learned that they had submitted a claim to Dealer General, the tire protection company whose coverage Arrigo sold me. Dealer General approved the replacement in less than an hour. By 2:18 PM EST, I had confirmation directly from their representative that the tire replacement had been authorized. Arrigo still did not finish the vehicle until after 5:00 PM. From 2:18 PM forward, I was the one calling the dealership repeatedly to find out what was happening. When I finally returned, the vehicle was parked in the visitor parking area. The service representative had me sign the paperwork in his office, handed me the key, and sent me outside to retrieve the vehicle myself. Employees were already leaving for the day, so there was nobody available to review the repair with me. Then I looked at the replacement tire. The new tire was surprisingly dirty, including the sidewall and tread. More importantly, the valve setup did not match the other 3 tires. My other tires have the green caps associated with the nitrogen service on the vehicle. The replacement tire was installed with a standard black rubber valve stem and black plastic cap. A black cap does not by itself prove that nitrogen was not used. But after everything else that happened, it gives me another reason to question whether the vehicle was returned to me according to the configuration I paid for. What makes this experience unacceptable to me is not simply how long I waited. It is that I brought Arrigo a vehicle with a tire at 18 PSI, trusted their professional assessment when they told me nothing was wrong, and shortly afterward found myself on the highway with the tire rapidly losing pressure again. Then, when I returned the next day and explained what had happened, I saw no evidence that anyone considered the original failure a serious safety concern. I expected this dealership to be the place I could trust when I needed help. Instead, a simple tire problem has made me question whether I can trust this service department with a more serious problem in the future. More
It was not about the people The people were nice It was about the lack of timeliness in a consistent manner, especially when you're renting a car out of pocket for a 2024 vehicle that you are still paying about the lack of timeliness in a consistent manner, especially when you're renting a car out of pocket for a 2024 vehicle that you are still paying payments on. It was also about the inflated price to fix the vehicle, and the charges to 'diagnose' the problem. I've never experienced that before at any dealership. I bought the vehicle, and 3 others, from your dealership, and to be charged almost $800 to diagnose it was shocking. More
