Hiring more people to assist with the rental process and washing the vehicles would have been helpful. The person who was responsible for everything was alone, and if she had helped, I wouldn’t have had to wait an hour to get a rental. Additionally, the tech left behind a bunch of bolts, wires, and missing nuts, as well as sensor disconnects that made my vehicle sound unusual. More
Took my car in for an oil change and the auto start light was on. I did the oil change said they fix the auto start. The battery was low. I had to drive it after three days. Unfortunately I have now developed a sense of mistrust and fear to ever wanting to take my vehicle in for service. I understand that vehicles wear and tear and so overtime certain things needs maintenance and fear to ever wanting to take my vehicle in for service. I understand that vehicles wear and tear and so overtime certain things needs maintenance. However, after I voluntarily took my car in for regular service (oil change) and to get an issue resolved (where the jeep shakes uncontrollably when at certain speed and especially when going over a uneven surface (regular road surfaces). So a tire rotation and balancing was recommended- that was completed also as part of the service. After receiving back my vehicle it started failing to start on initiate attempt (often took several attempts before a successful start), and I could see the hazard or wanting sign on the dashboard next to the Auto start-stop symbol: from this I was told I need to change the two batteries - since it is as the auto start-stop was the source of the issue, I change only that battery. After I got back the car (few hundred dollars work); the same evening the vehicle shut off on me in the middle of the road after trying to move from a red light (which now turned green). I got it to start again, and then the same thing the next day - and before I got to take the vehicle in again - the shut down far away from home after trying to leave a farmers market with my young child - and this time it didn’t start again. I called the dealership and they said could not help with tow - so I found a tow service and had to wait a long while out in the heat with my young one - tow truck arrived and vehicle send to the Arrigo CDJR sawgrass; we were hen uber home. Arrigo claimed it is because I didn’t change the big battery - however I had a third party test the battery (before it was towed) and it was reading strong and functional. While the vehicle was being serviced - the technician reported via a video that it was a “fuse” (not sure if that was the correct term used) if memory serves correct. Then when the arrigo service advisor called they mentioned I need to purchase a new auto start-so op battery and the large battery. Two to three days later I got back the vehicle (had to cancel some plans and uber around where I must) and now several hundred dollars more (and a more expensive price for the large battery than was initially told to me on the first visit. I had refused the I pay for the auto start-stop battery since I had just bought one and paid to have it installed by now them. The vehicle still shakes and I do not know where to now take it - because I do not trust Arrigo to be honest and properly assess and resolve the issue. No sense of genuine care and integrity- and seemingly lacks accountability. And while all this is happening - I am expressing to them that funds are tight at the moment and I just want honest precise information and service done. They mentioned they tried to assist with slight reduction in cost - but still not supportive enough since I do know they are accountable for what transpired after that first service. The mechanic could have made a mistake if they had to disconnect the battery during service. Anyhow - this is me just expressing myself because it has left a “bad taste in my mouth” regarding the place I had trusted and had no plans to seek a new place to maintain my jeep. And the “funny” thing is - because I took the car in for initial service someone recommended a local mechanic, which I didn’t go with - because I have this loyalty thing about me (I leased, then bought, and got all my services from Arrigo of sawgrass).
