Days later after receiving my car back after installing a new engine, I found out that the cable that opens the hood of the car was broken. It was in working condition when I turned in the car. My battery ha new engine, I found out that the cable that opens the hood of the car was broken. It was in working condition when I turned in the car. My battery has been malfunctioning since then as well. This is what lead to me finding out that the cable opening the hood was broken. Called the service department to question about this and I was given a mediocre answer that my car had a lot of broken things. Yes, this is true however, that particular piece was broken THERE, not a pre existing broken piece before bringing it here. For a female traveling back 2.5 hours away, this is something scary if you can’t open your hood in case you need someone to jump start the car or you needed to add coolant in case the car was overheating. I had thought I was dealing with honest people here, it is obvious I wasn’t. I will not be back here again to fix anything. It very much seems as if this place was hiding this issue, perhaps they didn’t and don’t want me to see something until I got out of the dealer. My car has not been driving very well since a couple of days after getting it back. Ladies, be very cautious taking your car here for any fixture, don’t be trusting and if you can, bring a man with car experience so this won’t happen to you. I can’t go back 2.5 hours to have the service department look at it and “possibly” fix this without them wanting to charge me for this.
