I'm about to return for the fifth time since July to have my air conditioner fixed. I've already spent $3,400 with Arrigo Fiat and it still blows warm air. Each time they say it's fixed, it lasts about 2-3 w my air conditioner fixed. I've already spent $3,400 with Arrigo Fiat and it still blows warm air. I needed a new starter motor and battery cable for my Fiat 500. I was given an estimate of $1000 for the service. When I got the bill it came to $1400, almost half again as much. After a lengthy discussi Fiat 500. I was given an estimate of $1000 for the service. When I got the bill it came to $1400, almost half again as much. After a lengthy discussion with the service manager we agreed to $1230, which still seems like I still got ripped off. More
An Express Oil Change should not take 2 hours. I have no other service done. 2 Hours. I don't understand how it takes that long everytime. other service done. 2 Hours. I don't understand how it takes that long everytime. More
Bait and Switch. Today I was treated to my very first "click-bait" pricing in a very long time. This dealership offered a 2018 Tesla for $44,000, ~ $3K off of its KBB Value. I talk to the Sales Manag "click-bait" pricing in a very long time. This dealership offered a 2018 Tesla for $44,000, ~ $3K off of its KBB Value. I talk to the Sales Manager, Hollando, and say I'm interested. Ideally, I would like to buy it today. • First Red Flag: They told me they do not accept outside financing. "But, sir, I am preapproved at 1.49%." Hollando said he'd talk to the finance manager. Trying to move the deal along, I asked for the deal sheet. this is what I got: The deal sheet is headed by the car's present market value of $47,143.00. Their price, as stated on their website, is $44,000. $1,995.00 for the "Arrigo Advantage" treatment. Hollando claimed every car Arrigo West Palm sells comes with this addon. I asked what was included and got a mumbled explanation equating to some unknown type of paint treatment, anti-theft etching on the windows, protective film on the headlights... junk. The price of this service was irreversible and non-negotiable. $2,641.00 Reconditioning. This car must have needed a ton of work. Or they were getting ripped off. Subtotal - ** $48,636.00 ** So now the price for the car has climbed above KBB value with dealer add ons and overprices fluff. Taxes, fees, and sneaky line items : 199.00 Taxable Fees (Estimated). This fee is supposed to cover titling the car. 998.00 Doc Fee. This is the dealer's fee for doing the deal. Non-negotiable like the rest of the items. 3,039.98 Tax 804.45 Non Tax Fees. No one could tell me what these fees were. ALL IN, TOTAL PRICE - $53,677.43 This car could not have been purchased for the advertised $44,000 under any conditions. Belieeeeeve me, I tried. Hollando and the General Manager both communicated to me that the add ons were how they do business. Supposedly there was never a bait and switch. With the "Arrigo Advantage" and reconditioning costs, the car's price is $4,000 more than the price they advertised. In my heart, this feels like deceptive selling. My inner sense of fair and decent treatment of others is why I have taken 45 minutes out of my day to write what is quickly turning into a novel. Please do not do business with Hollando the Sales Manager / Finance Manager. He was happy to listen but told me I was dreaming if I thought I could buy the car I wanted for the price posted on their website. More
