Easy does it this was an easy no haggle experience while Antoine and I went for a test drive my car was being appraised. Antoine showed me original sticker and all the work that was done on the vehicle along with the carfax printed out. I was given an amount for my vehicle I suggested something and they met me at the amount I felt fair Salesrep did not have to go back to the manager the manager came to us and made it work. The finance lady had everything ready for me and made it a easy process. I would recommend Arnie Bauer if you want a comfortable and fair experience. I purchased a 2011 Cadillac SRX I hope the car matches the no hassle purchasing experience. More

Flat-out, hands down epic, beating other dealerships – including o General Manager Bret Pechtold and Sales & Leasing Consultant Bob Simon are epic. Flat-out, hands down epic, beating other dealerships – including our personal go-to favorite CarMax by several thousand dollars (between the averages in miles, condition and cost, along with much appreciated professionalism and congeniality). That needed to be said, first. We turned to Arnie Bauer in search for a replacement of our 2013 GMC Terrain, as very recently our trusty GMC was totaled after being t-boned by a Toyota Verso. (Thankfully no fatalities.) An unfortunate accident only made worse by having our identity stolen just days before, leaving us in a serious financial bind… With less than 72 hours on the clock from the insurance company, we had simple aims to find a vehicle equipollent to the one we’d lost. On top of the accident, recovery, living with disability, and all that follows . . . It was much easier said than done. (Especially considering we researched 6 straight weeks before confidently picking our first and late GMC Terrain - needless to say, we’d loved that one.) And now, with thanks to Arnie Bauer & all the staff we had the pleasure of dealing with, I can say - with confidence - we were able to put a good end to a very trying week with an equally, if not better, 2013 GMC Terrain. Arnie Bauer Buick GMC Cadillac in Matteson had the best result of all comparable options to select, by a variety of dealerships and locations, saving us from the prospect of trekking out of state - pressed for time - and on limited means. To our complete and utter gratitude and astonishment, Bret Pechtold & Bob Simon went above and beyond in old-school style “neighborly” complement, of enabling us to drive our replacement while the papers were still in the works. (Our State Farm settlement check had not yet cleared and the insurance company sponsored rental -our only means of transportation- was to be up before all was said and done…) As it was, we found our “Atlantis Blue” (a fitting name for the color, given a xxxx nigh mythical sale: made just under the wire, not only by our deadline but also the dealership’s) sitting front and center on the showroom floor. Knowing it was the best of all our options, we were further encouraged to find both dealership and salespersons equally interested making a fair transaction as well as serving earnest buyers in a tough market. And really, that’s the most anyone can ask for- all we could have asked for, considering Bret Pechtold decently knocked $100.00 off our bill, and Bob Simon okayed a $200.00 down payment instead of the preferred $300-$500 once again, making this process possible where it would otherwise not have been. Another huge help in a string of actions that facilitated a timely replacement, empowering us to get back into the swing of things, and our lives, in a time of need. As my wife said, “It was perfect . . .” And it really was. In the 37 years since my first automobile purchase - a collective 69 years and 20 automobiles between us - we can safely say, (my wife and I,) that it has been without a doubt the best automobile sale we’ve ever signed the paperwork on. Even without taking into account just having experienced firsthand the worst automobile collision of my life, thus far. Everyone should matter. On April 7, 2016, I walked into this dealership in order to test drive a new Cadillac Escalade ( I currently own the previous generation escalade). T On April 7, 2016, I walked into this dealership in order to test drive a new Cadillac Escalade ( I currently own the previous generation escalade). The test drive was the worse that I have every had in my life. The Escalade that I was put in, was full of boxes and other items. And on top of that, the information screen stated that the truck was low on fuel. I explained this to the salesman and he stated that we would't go far because he really didn't have much time to give me a test drive, but I could call him and set up a time for another test drive. I even noticed that my sales man had to give a long explanation to his sales manager before we were even able to go outside for the test drive. I really expected so much more from this dealership. Before coming to this dealership, I had just test driven a Lincoln Navigator at Sutton Ford and Lincoln (which is one of their neighbors) and I feel more compelled to buy the Navigator than the Escalade. Sutton Ford and Lincoln was so much better. And I couldn't believe that the sales man at Arnie Bauer informed me that he used to work at Sutton Ford. I guess the customer service didn't transfer over with him. They really made me feel as if I didn't really matter to them. More

Fantastic experience with a professional staff ! From the moment we walked through the door, my wife and I knew that this would be place that would earn our business. In the weeks prior, we had visited several other dealerships, all with the same result. Pushy or rude salesmen, lying to us and doing whatever it takes to make the sale. This was NOT the case at Arnie Bauer. Everyone was very polite and professional. We sat and talked with Tom Hogan, who was very patient with me, as I test drove three different trucks. Tom was upfront about everything and left no question unanswered. He made sure that , once I had made my decision, the process would be quick and painless. After the deal was done, they sat with me in my truck and taught me how to use all the bells in whistles in my 2016 GMC Sierra Denali ! Thanks Tom for an all around great car buying experience. You better believe we will keep doing business with Arnie Bauer Cadillac GMC! More

I went into the dealership to look at it and the sales manager himself helped me out with taking the car for a test drive and ran numbers for me. I was very happy with the price and they even gave me a good deal on an extended warranty since I knew the 2011 models sometimes had some transmission issues. I've put almost 1000 miles on the car since I got it and I haven't had any issues at all. I will definitely come back to Arnie Bauer for my next vehicle. More

BIGGEST MISTAKE.so they looked at it and said it was Motor oil I just fixed a motor leak and showed the person helping me the paper work and said that was the problem and had to take it back to where the work was done. I figured i would wait because it is about 45 min from my home BIG MISTAKE I didn't know my miles where almost over for my extended warranty! I took it in to the dealership where I GO and they said it was TRANSMISSION OIL NOT MOTOR " HOW CAN THEY NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE"!!!!! NOW I DON'T HAVE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY AND IT IS GOING TO COST ME 2300 + TAX TO FIX!!!! THEY TOTALLY MIS DIAGNOSED MY VEHICLE WHAT KIND OF MECHANICS DO THEY HAVE THEY DONT KNOW THE DIFFERNECE BETWEEN MOTOR AND TRANS OIL! More

My wife and I drove up to the dealership a Saturday morning to pick up the vehicle. When we arrived at 11:30 am we let them know we were there to pick up the vehicle. After about 15 minutes a nervous salesman came over to tell me they sold the car the previous night. I immediately asked to see the sales manager and he looked me in the eye and said sorry nothing he could do. After I questioned him he said if I didn't leave the premises he would call the police. I am now looking to purchase an Escalade and guess what dealership popped up............ I think not. More

The guys in the service department are EXTREMELY RUDE and unfriendly. The truck needed $800.00 worth of service done to it. When my husband called and asked how this could happen (seeing we only had it less than a week before we took it back) the service department informed us that we bought a used vehicle what were we expecting. They did pay for the repairs, but after I picked it up it sound horrible. It is still squealing really bad. From the car lot to my house it squealed. If I wanted something that squealed, I would've kept what I had. I am so unhappy and upset with this situation. I will never do business with this company again, and I will tell any and everyone not to go there. By far the worst buying experience ever. More
