I bought a car there "with" a warranty, when the car had issues (within a month of purchase) I went to make a claim and it turned out that the dealership never actually paid for the warranty. So in essence I paid for a slip of paper, they pocketed the money. When I confronted the salesman on this issue they admitted to the warranty fraud, but were unwilling to actually fix the issue on the car, or refund the purchase price. I soon realized that apart from taking litigation the issue would not be resolved, I had to dump the car at an auto auction. Prices look good on line, but you get what you pay for, worst car buying decision I have ever made, I will never go back, and strongly urge you to not go as well. More
Stay Away!!!! Cars Are Junk And The Dealer Is Worst! Stay Away!!! I bought a vehicle from here. It is junk! I drove 5 hours!! When I went to have it inspected, I was told it would take over $11k just to make it pass inspection. The mechanic was surprised that someone would actually sell something this unsafe. He even went as far to say that it wasn't really worth fixing. I tried to return this vehicle but Dmitry Seliverstov no longer was interested in me. The PA. Attny Gen was no help either. It was a very costly mistake. More
Avoid this dealer - not trustworthy - cars have costly flaws On Jan 27 my girlfriend and I drove 2.5 hours to purchase a BMW X5 from Armada Trader, PA used car dealership, based on the stated condition of the ca On Jan 27 my girlfriend and I drove 2.5 hours to purchase a BMW X5 from Armada Trader, PA used car dealership, based on the stated condition of the car in his ad (CarGurus) and the follow up emails that Alex, a salesperson from the dealer had sent to us. Here is a quote from Alex the salesperson. "Email from Armada Trader forwarded by CarGurus. Hello, and thank you for inquiring about our 2005 BMW X5, this is a great Luxury SUV, 4x4,m engine and transmission work great, and the interior is like new, what would you like to know about this SUV and when would you like to come check it out? please call/text at 215-919-5185". Another quote sent by Alex on Jan 27, "Yes we do, the car is in excellent condition". When we arrived, the car looked good on the outside, and drove well. Initially I smelled oil but looked underneath and did not see any signs of oil on the ground or the skid plate under the motor. I thought it was maybe from sitting for a long period of time. What I didn't know was the the bottom and around the motor had been cleaned up so as to hid any oil leaks. As I had had previous problems with dealers selling cars in another state other than Maryland and claiming that their cars would easily pass Maryland inspection, I insisted on getting in writing that the vehicle would pass MD inspection with no tire, brake or suspension issues. Alex, the salesperson put in writing on the bill of sale that it would pass and assured me that this was a really good car with no problems. We put a deposit on the vehicle on Jan 27, with plans to return Saturday or Sunday. The salesperson called Sat afternoon to re-scheduled as he did not have the title. We came on Feb 4 to pickup the car. While I was waiting for the salesperson to return with the car title, I also looked at the car sunroof and noticed that it did not work, I pointed it out to Alex when he arrived, who looked at it and said, it was a small piece of tape blocking the mechanism and he just could not get the tape out but it was a simple problem, I accepted his and trusted his answer as I could not verify it. We bought the car, with inspection guarantee. I took the car to the Maryland Inspection station the following day. The car failed miserably. I sent to Alex the inspection report and estimate of repairs to Alex and he promptly stated that he was not going to fix or pay for anything. Here is a brief summary of what the inspection station said: Rear tires - failed, front have serious dry rot, on the dangerous side - failed, brake rotor failed - front and rear, leaking rack and pinion - failed, window tint - exceeds MD standards - failed, windshield - too many scratches, must be polished or replaced, front control arm - failed. Also serious oil leaks under the engine, looks clean out from underneath, but when we pulled the cover under the pan, it was soaked with oil, a BMW only repair. I took the car to the BMW dealer and they quoted $11500 in repairs to correct the leaks, suspension, and sun roof ($4500, track system was non-functional), here are the details, oil leak from timing cover on both cylinder heads, oil leak from oil cooler, leaking rack and pinion rack, cracked and leaking boot, all four rotors below factory inspection spec, tires so dry rotted but were hid by low air pressure and tire black coating, when tires were pumped up to factory air pressure, the tire rot was so bad that they will not pass inspection station, broken bushing lower control rod, excessive worn bushings for front sway bar and power panoramic roof did not work due to broken track. Not only did this dealership did not tell the truth, but hid the problems. I have all the documentation from BMW, repair shops and inspection station. Everything is documented with pictures and shop estimates. This is a dealer that can not be trusted at any level even if you get something in writing and the cars looks good. More
