I went in not sure whether I was actually going to purchase a car. I was a first time car buyer and didn't know the steps to actually purchasing one in my name. Mike was friendly from the moment I first contacted him to inquire about the vehicle. He responded fast and very honestly to all my questions and inquiries. One of the things that really stuck out for me was on my way down to the dealership to "just look at the vehicle and see if I liked it." The morning of my visit Mike Ayoub called me and told me he was excited to meet me and show me the vehicle and that he had gotten it all cleaned up and looking nice and ready for me. He also warned me that there was another customer that wanted to come look at it that day so I should come as early as possible. With a near 2 hour drive ahead of me, I informed him that it would take awhile to get down to the dealership. Mike called me every couple hours to inform me on the other client and his whereabouts to determine if it was worth my trip. When he called me the last time before I arrived, he only called me to tell me the other guy decided he was going to come on Monday and that I didn't need to rush any longer. (Many dealers would have still tried to rush me there to get on with the process) When I arrived at the dealership, I was immediately greeted by many employees. Being the last day of the month, and the busiest, people were everywhere but Mike was there to greet me with a cold water for my friend and I and show me to the car. He let me take a look at the vehicle then gave me some time to look through anything I wanted without the pressure of him standing there. I quickly decided that I had a change of heart and I wanted the vehicle. When I told Mike he was very happy and extremely helpful getting everything done. I couldn't be happier with my service and my new vehicle. More

The reason why I give Sullivan Buick GMC the highest possible rating is the consistent outstanding service I receive from their service dept. especially Dave Hetzel! Dave is just awesome!! He is always professional and takes the time to make sure I am 100% satisfied. With his 27 years of mechanical experience, he brings customer service to another level since he can pinpoint what repair is needed even before I bring the car in! This was the case with my most recent repair on 3/17/14. Not only did Dave resolve my electrical problems but also provided me with a courtesy loaner car while it was being completed. I am fortunate to have such a great service dept to bring my car to and having the pleasure to work with such a nice,caring man named Dave Hetzel. THANK YOU,Dave! More
This is an update of a review from February 7. I purchased a brand new 2013 buick regal on February 6. In one month, I have had nothing but problems with the car, and I've gotten the runaround from purchased a brand new 2013 buick regal on February 6. In one month, I have had nothing but problems with the car, and I've gotten the runaround from the dealer. Here's my story: I purchased the car on February 6, which was one of the coldest days of the year, but I was happy because I purchased a new car. I keep the car in a garage, and when I drove the car out of the garage on february 7, 2014, I had a notice that all 4 tires had low air pressure. I understand that car tires sometimes deflate in cold weather, but the car was kept in the garage and should have been checked for air pressure on February 6 when I drove off the lot. When they sold me a car, they should have checked the air pressure in the tires. If someone had checked, they would have seen that the tires had low air pressure. That was my first wasted trip back to the dealer. The following week, it snowed. I decided to turn on the rear defrost. It didn't work. I had to take the car back to fix this issue, along with getting the cup holder replaced, as it was warped. The rear defrost had been disconnected. This is an issue that should have been checked out before I left the lot on February 6 with a new car. Third, on February 20, 2014,the roof was leaking like a dripping faucet! I had to pick up a loaner I was told that the drainage tubes for the roof had been either clogged or twisted, thus causing the leak into the interior of the car. Then, on February 24 , I noted that the windshield had 2 deep gauges in it (neither of which existed before I took the car in for service on February 20! I took the car in...again. I again had to pick up a loaner car. I advised everyone at the dealer who would listen via email and in person how displeased I am with my product and that I have no faith in either Buick's reliability and Sullivan customer service. This car is less than 1 month old, and I've had to bring the car in 4 times for service. To date, I have gotten nothing but the run around from the dealer. I have advised that I will escalate the matter to GM's headquarters, because the dealer doesn't care about the piece of junk it sold me. Despite sending emails to the sails rep, sales manager, service manager, general manager, and owner of the dealer, I've received NO response email. Instead, when I called to follow up I was told to come in to the dealer and we would get me in a new car. When I went to the dealer, they tried selling me a new regal and treat my one month old car as a trade in!!!!! Why would I buy another Buick, when the one sold to me is garbage. This group is a bunch of charlatans, and I have no faith in Buick products. I would have been better of buying Japanese or German cars instead of trying to support American. No good deed goes unpunished. More

I came to this dealership for service on my 2010 Terrain due to the closing of the GMC dealership in Libertyville. I had received a $ 50 gift card from Sullivan stating that they would be my new GMC dealer due to the closing of the GMC dealership in Libertyville. I had received a $ 50 gift card from Sullivan stating that they would be my new GMC dealership so I thought I'd try them out. I first went on their website, which is really well put together and informative, and realized that it is very easy to request a service appointment online...definitely a good start. I also saw a coupon online for 20% off any service or repair, but it was expiring on 2/28. I was not bringing my car in until 3/1, so I asked them in my request for a service appointment if there was any way I could still use the coupon. Well, I received an email back pretty much right away letting me know that my appointment was confirmed for 3/1 and also received a phone call from Victor(?) telling me that it was not a problem for me to use the coupon. Again, I was very pleased to hear this as I needed an oil change, tire rotation, alignment and fuel injector service and am a single mom without much extra cash. Since I am not familiar with Dundee Road at all, the worst part it seemed was getting there from my job in Lincolnwood. However, once there I was waited on right away. Everyone was very friendly and thanked me for choosing their dealership when they found out it was my first visit. This was at 1:00pm and they estimated it would take 2 - 2 1/2 hours to service my car. I decided to walk across the street to grab some lunch, which was not easy since I couldn't tell if there are no sidewalks or they were just loaded with snow. (I guess the businesses around there don't consider shoveling sidewalks important?) Anyway, after lunch I looked around in one of the stores and arrived back at the dealership around 3:10pm. I was sitting in their very nice waiting area when at 3:20pm I was informed my car was done...right on time. So I must say my entire first experience with this dealership was very easy and enjoyable, and since I was able to use both the coupon and the gift card, quite economical for the work performed. I will definitely use them for future service appointments and would readily recommend them to others. P. Alpert More
My car was towed in to Sullivan and Jeremy was wonderful. He let us know the problem, fixed it and was able to get everything covered under warrantee so it didn't cost a penny.
