I will start with I have been a very loyal customer of this establishment for the last 7 years including purchasing my current 2021 GMC Acadia here in October 2020. However, since the switch from Sulliva this establishment for the last 7 years including purchasing my current 2021 GMC Acadia here in October 2020. However, since the switch from Sullivan Buick GMC to Arlington Heights Buick GMC, the quality of my service visits has gone down considerably. My last several oil changes and tire rotations have been very slow, even with appointments. However, my last appointment was a total disaster for me. I scheduled a 4pm appointment on a Friday afternoon as my battery was giving me troubles and when I showed up for my appointment, I was told that I would have to leave my vehicle overnight as they had nobody in the shop to switch out the battery. I told the young man that I had an appointment for 4pm and the listed service hours on their website is till 6pm, so why cant he honor my appointment. Was told their website is wrong and should never have given me a 4pm appointment. I walked over to the garage entrance where I saw at least 10 employees standing around in the garage chit chatting, so asked him to see if someone would help me since I couldn't turn off my car without need a jump due to bad battery. He told me to come back tomorrow, at which time I told him he just lost my business and I would not be coming back. I have never been treated this way at any other dealership and never when it was still owned by Sullivan. More

Normally, I give AH Buick 5 stars but at my most recent service appt, I want to say that I was disappointed with the provided estimate by the service dept. I received an email with my service estimate that service appt, I want to say that I was disappointed with the provided estimate by the service dept. I received an email with my service estimate that showed what the service dept recommended for my Buick Enclave. This included a 50pt inspection bc my car just passed 50K miles, a transmission fluid replacement, oil change, and new / brakes pads. When I got my estimate, it showed that if I accepted all suggestions, I would pay $866.85. But I declined the brakes and pads so I could get a 2nd estimate which I feel is quite normal. Thus my estimate came down to $355. However, on the estimate, they put $0 for the multi point inspection and I walked out of there paying $564. That is $200 MORE than the estimate which feels like they were trying to get me to agree to do all services and take advantage of making it look like it would be a lower payment than it would actually be. I was truly surprised and even asked why they did a wheel alignment when I just got new wheels put on less than 6 months ago. I will still go back to AH Buick, however, now I know to ask about all pricing and costs bc the estimate is not a fair or accurate estimate in my opinion. And while they call it an estimate, paying 60% more than originally estimated feels wholly unfair and like they were trying to take advantage of the consumer. More
