I would like to start by introducing myself as the salesman that this review was written about. My name is Geoff S. I have been employed with Sullivan Buick GMC since February 2010. I have never worked in the auto sales industry prior. That being said, I would like to comment on this review. When it comes to me not being able to figure out how to work the convertible top, I simply stated to the customer that I needed to get a key to power up the convertible top. And even if I didn’t know how to work the convertible, where is the wrong with stating so, instead of outright lying to a potential client, and causing embarrassment to myself and the dealership. In regards to how I treat my clients, I have never judged a book by its cover. I am not the “Khaki and polo” wearing type of person, and I would like to say that I treat every person I meet at the dealership with the same respect, regardless if you come in wearing a $3000.00 suit, or a pair of cargo shorts and t-shirt. What I was trying to explain to this client is this: To put it plain and simple, when it comes to the pricing of our pre-owned vehicles, we don’t play pricing games. We do not artificially inflate our pre-owned prices in the hopes of winning a “negotiating” contest with our clients. We achieve this by Live Market Pricing, which is done by polling over 20,000 pre-owned websites every hour to ensure that every single customer receives real-time Value Pricing on every pre-owned vehicle we sell.
