My last car buying experience (Arlington Nissan) was not a good one at all. Fortunately, this time, I went to Sullivan GMC and got paired up with JP Maty. I initiated our purchase via the internet. JP a good one at all. Fortunately, this time, I went to Sullivan GMC and got paired up with JP Maty. I initiated our purchase via the internet. JP got right back to me with a phone call and invited me to the store to have my trade appraised. He immediately "bottom-lined" the numbers for purchase. I had been "shopping" other GMC dealers and knew his numbers to be on par with what I had been hearing at other dealers. However, there was none of that back and forth "let me talk to my manager" stuff that really irritates me and was subjected to at other dealers. After we agreed on the pricing, I called my wife to tell her to pick out the color combination she wanted. Lo and behold, when we came back that evening we were more than pleasantly surprised to see that JP had pulled both Acadia's inside the service area (Red one and the Cocoa one) so she could see them side by side and also so my wife wouldn't have to get wet, as it was raining outside. That was above and beyond the call of duty and made a great impression upon me and my wife for doing business with these people. Following day we set up for the paperwork and delivery. The Finance Manager, Jeremy I believe, had all the documents ready at the agreed upon time and expedited the process in a quick and professional manner with no numbers games. In my opinion, the teamwork of JP and Jeremy should be held as an industry standard of what the car buying experience should be. More

My husband and I found a used vehicle that we were intrested in online. J.P. answered the phone, when I called to inquire about the vehicle, at this time I explained to him, that we lived in Gary In. intrested in online. He got started on the paperwork as soon as he recieved our info, and call us back when the financing when through. We were thankful for this, because it saved us alot of time waiting and driving back and forth. J.P.was friendly and pleasant from the start. J.P was patient with us while he spent a considerate amount of time negotiating with bank to help us get the vechical at a fair price. This was a pleasent experience, and would recommend buying a car from them. More

Sullivan in Arlington Heights is the best dealership by far. Geoff Sulkowski my salesman is the best out there! He is professional, friendly and knows his cars! I have to say, initially I was a bit concerned when looking at the construction going on and not able to find my way into the front door. But once I ran into JP the entire process went very smoothly. I was looking for a new SUV and JP was the used car salesman but helped me anyway as the new car guys were busy. He did not ask me to wait to meet with a new car salesman which would have added significant waiting time to my day. He jumped right in, knew quite a bit about the new car I was interested in and most importantly, was very pleasant and attentive. Once I was ready to discuss the purchase price I was even more pleased with the experience. There was no game playing, just an honest discussion on what I could afford and what price they could lease the car for. I realize car dealerships are not "not-for-profit" organizations and need to turn a profit as well. That said, what I don't like about the car buying experience is the waiting game dealers often play and there was none of that with JP. If he did need to step away and discuss additional scenarios with his manager, he let me know how long he would be gone and kept to that. I had a $ amount in mind for the car I wanted when I went to Sullivan and I walked away around that price with the car I wanted. After I was passed off to Finance to sign the papers there were no hidden costs and that process went quickly and smoothly as well. Very pleased with my experience. More
