Arlington Heights Buick GMC

My wife and I had found out some great news about an addition to our family, and we knew that the Nissan Altima that we had was not going to be large enough. We originally were looking to purchase a Yu addition to our family, and we knew that the Nissan Altima that we had was not going to be large enough. We originally were looking to purchase a Yukon Denali because we thought we needed a large vehicle. When arriving at Sullivan, we were introduced to Eliot who sat us down to see what we wanted. We told him what we were interested in and our "comfort zone" with our budget. He was very informative and did not pressure us to run our credit. He let us test drive the Yukon and also recommended the Acadia and let us drive that also. We were surprised to see that the Acadia was the better choice and was more reasonable for our new family. The pricing was great and all options were placed on the table and we walked away happy with our new Acadia Denali. Eliot was great and we were glad to have had him help us. More

Overall I found my experience to be okay. There was an employee conflict with who got to sell me the car (I had spoken with both Geoff and Jeremy earlier in the day on the phone) that happened when we got employee conflict with who got to sell me the car (I had spoken with both Geoff and Jeremy earlier in the day on the phone) that happened when we got to the dealership making me wait about 10 minutes before being helped. Out of the two, Geoff was much better to work with and the Sales Manager was also pleasant. There wasn't much 'selling' which was nice -- I didn't feel pressured at all to make a decision and am happy with my used car purchase. There were only a few areas that I was disappointed and perhaps it is the norm when purchasing a used car. The car only had a quarter tank of gas and it was not detailed (an employee had been driving it up until my purchase) there was an odd smell in the car once the massive amount of air freshener wore off that I had to get taken care of. As well, there was a part broken they agreed to fix upon purchase - it has been a month and the service department (which is normally quite stellar) is still working on. More

A friendship was made before even talking about cars with Phil Pilny, our salesman. I am not sure if the other salesman are like him but I got so lucky having to deal with him for purchasing my first truck. Again, a friendship was made and the reason I bought a car from Sullivan was because of that friendship! More

Not pushy, no negotiation, straight to the point. This is exactly how I like doing business in general. There is an excellent chance that when we go for my wife in a year or two that we will end up at Sullivan. Obviously if she likes a non-Buick or GMC then that is out of my control, but assuming this Terrain continues to do its thing for me I could see myself upgrading to an Acadia in about 5 years or so.
