Watch pricing and promises Talked and emailed Gerald over a long period to set up test drives. Ended up buying 2 vehicles. Mark ended up doing most if not all of he selling. Even on days Gerald was supposed to be there, he was not around, was beginning to wonder what was up? Bought the first vehicle, don't really move on price, (on used cars) be aware of that. The car I purchases was very clean so didn't have too much an issue with that. A week later, I brought my son in, he purchased a vehicle, again no price concession. The problem with my sons car, is that he purchased it on Friday. On Monday he returned to bring in his deposit check and pick the car up. The dealer left the car on the website and lowered the price $200.00. As the usual excuse the days, "well it is all computer driven". After purchasing 2 vehicles with in a roughly 10 day period, I was extremely let down. Not even a gesture to split the difference. Also, I guess because I brought in someone that purchased a car, I was to be given a Visa Gift Card as a thank you. It has been 2 weeks, haven't seen that as of yet. Wasn't expecting it, but when you promise something, a business should follow through. The reason I checked "No" on the above review is strictly based on these last few sentences. Straight Foward without the Drama After researching the internet for our car, we called Mr Hamilton for a visit. He allowed us to set up any time to meet. We were met at the door and invited into his office. After some pleasant formalities, he introduced us to the car. It was clean and ready to test drive. We made two trips around. One for me and one for my wife. Gerald was very friendly and knowledgable. He answered all questions about the car as we finished our test drive. We headed back to his office, were offered refreshments, and then discussed numbers. He was straight forward and never pressured us once. He even dismissed himself so that we could discuss the deal. Once we were ready, Gerald handled all the paperwork and even gave us a parting gift. We wouldn't hesitate to purchase another car from him. Which I almost did so the next week.
