Waste of time I brought my car in for a recall on the door handles and oil change. This was a scheduled appt, I called 2x to verify the recall work to be sure every I brought my car in for a recall on the door handles and oil change. This was a scheduled appt, I called 2x to verify the recall work to be sure everything that need to be addressed was fixed at the appt. Once I got there Craig checked in my car and I mentioned the back door handles were starting to peel again (it was fixed in 2012, but they didn't fix the front doors). Craig said he would have to check to see if it was covered under the recall. Side note...if I brought it in already to be fixed and the fix is failing, why wouldn't it be covered. I thought he was referring to the back handles. I go to the waiting area and wait.....1 1/2 hours, then Craig calls me and tells me "It isn't covered by the recall", none of it! Not the front or back. Do I still want my oil changed? What??? I waited that long for nothing! Why didn't they change my oil? Craig gave me a number to call for recalls. Great customer service...NOT. My time is valuable, Hyundai wasted my entire morning. After I complained to Tony (manager) then Gary (service manager) called back and said that I could come back for a free oil change. No thanks....the dealship is not close to my house and I had already left. I asked why they couldn't tell it wasn't eligible for the recall when I scheduled the appt? He said they have to "look" at the car. However, I was told by Craig the recall had expired...which is it? I am totally disguisted with this dealship. More
