Drove to Denver from Colorado Springs to this dealer for better inventory and prices. Was greeted by Elva Mejia, who was able to answer all guestions and take care of us while there. The sales person, Brian Wheeler was very good to work with. He had the cars I was interested in test driving, ready for me when I arrived at the dealership. He even did well to get me the price I wanted for the vehicle. The finance manager, Edgar Felix, on the other hand, was extremely difficult to work with. He wasn’t willing to reveal the actual interest rate (buy rate) I had qualified for. Instead, he chose to lie about it stating he doesn’t know what that is. He kept talking over me, not allowing me to speak, that resulted in us having a bit of tiff. He clearly didn't appreciate the fact that I was a knowledgable customer. He and Brian even put a little skit together constantly bringing up a price sheet I had signed that had the ballpark payment numbers calculated off of HMF’s “Standard” rates. The rate wasn’t mentioned on the sheet. When I had asked Brian about the rate, he said, it’s 5.9% and 6.9% which clearly meant, they hadn’t submitted my loan application to HMF yet. At one point, they even mentioned that I live 30 miles away from the dealership and the reason I approached them was because they had the car I wanted. I understand that the dealership also needs to make money, but not by treating their customers this way. This clearly doesn’t abide by the transparency promise that the dealership offers. If Edgar would have been honest, transparent and a little more appreciative of me, I would have gladly worked with him to settle with what works for both of us. But sadly that didn’t happen. As for the dealership, the one thing I didn’t like was, the sales personnel at this dealership assist the Finance Managers with collecting sensitive customer information. The sales people don’t have a closed office like finance managers do. So, all of your sensitive personal information has to provided in a publicly open space. Also, the sales personnel are trained here to ask the customer their immigration status. I had 3 sales people at this dealership ask me if I had a green card! All one needs to finance a car purchase is, a valid drivers license, a social security number and some credit history. Immigration status has nothing to do with being able to finance a car purchase. More
I really liked working with Devin, he understood my requirements/needs and made the transaction happen. He didn't try to sell me other cars or unnecessary items I didn't need, like at some other dealer requirements/needs and made the transaction happen. I must say he was great. Very patient with me. I was not familiar with the Hyundai selection. He took me though each tier of the SUV’s and explained the differences. He had good communication and was very professional. The pricing was straightforward, flexible, and we were never pressured into purchasing something we did not need. Logan made sure that the vehicle was correctly prepped and everything worked as described. He also contacted us several times after the purchase to make sure everything was OK and that the vehicle met our expectations. The overall experience that Logan and the Staff provided was 5-Star. Alex was wonderful to work with; there was a nail in my tire and the first available appointment online was in December. I called to see if there was anyway I could be seen sooner due to the safety risk i tire and the first available appointment online was in December. She was able to assist with the tire replacement plus was able to have the engine recall and regular oil change performed that I needed. I did have an issue in whomever I spoke with on the phone trying to reach Alex to find out my options to have my tire looked at earlier than December. The automated phone tree does not explicitly give an option to enter an extension. I selected the option that made most logical sense of 6, which was "Sales and ALL OTHER OPTIONS". Someone answered the phone, and unfortunately, I did not get her name. I asked for the specific extension, the woman said "That's service" and put me back into the phone tree without any direction as to what option I needed to select. I find this extremely rude and unhelpful as I had obviously not known which option to select in order to enter a specific extension. It is also unlike any experience I have had to date with Arapahoe Hyundai. More

This dealership is charging thousands of dollars over MSRP (which other local Hyundai dealerships don’t do) and the math they use to calculate a car payment is fuzzy at best. We wanted to buy a hybrid MSRP (which other local Hyundai dealerships don’t do) and the math they use to calculate a car payment is fuzzy at best. We wanted to buy a hybrid Tucson, priced it out online at Hyundai’s website and their finance department somehow was going to charge us $300 more a month than the calculation Hyundai had. With so many great options in denver, we will gladly take our business elsewhere from now on. More
