Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately, due to the GLOBAL inventory shortage, vehicle availability/selection is at an all-time low. We have a no-hold policy in place, specifically to avoid uncomfortable situations similar to the one described. As you might imagine, there are many times, while someone may ask us to hold a vehicle for many reasons (spouse approval, co-signer, scheduling, other decision influencers, approval, etc) and the deal ultimately fails to go through (for a variety of reasons). This may prevent another customer who is prepared to move forward with purchase now to proceed. Therefore, the no-hold policy allows for the person the "most" ready to purchase, to do so. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and look forward to supply returning to a more normal condition allowing for multiple vehicles to choose from. Corporate speak essentially saying "we have the upper hand so we don't have to be customer focused". When things get back to normal, you will hopefully go under since this is the fate of dealerships such as yours.

It doesn't surprise me that you would conclude your response with a snide remark since the operation of any business is reflective of upper management. No matter. We went to Schomp Hyundai where we were treated with respect and honesty. They were also short on inventory. My friend drove away with a new car.
