Ashley did a great job of getting me in quickly, letting me know the issue and ordering the part so I did not have to wait. Once the part arrived he again got me in and out within an hour and a half. Laura Canales was really good getting our Tahoe in and out for a CD replacement. We have had 2 appointments with her in the service department and both times she was right on top of it and got our vehicle out for a CD replacement. It was frustrating, yes, but the people at Aransas Autoplex did what they could to remedy and alleviate my irritation of the situation. The problem was a mystery to even the GM representative but Autoplex worked diligently and carefully to follow all the instructions sent down from GM. Ultimately, they had to replace parts to resolve the issue. While I do believe my truck qualified as lemon, I think the employees at Aransas Autoplex did everything within their power and capacity to make it go as smoothly as possible. More

Customer Service and Communication My wife and I are driving around the United States searching for our next home. We have a 2014 one ton Chevy Silverado dually towing a 36 foot fifth wheel camper and are very cautious of being caught with maintenance problems "on the road". Our truck has very few miles on it as the first owner used it only for towing his camper once in a while. We had the new tires rotated at Big O tires and they noticed a rear axle leak on the driver side, they gave us an estimate of (roughly) 500.00 and "about two hours" of labor. We thought this was fair but knew we had a bumper-to-bumper warranty and thought it may still be under warranty at a Chevy dealer. Arriving in Port Aransas, I contacted your service center and was informed that next availability will be late "next week". I scheduled the date and arrived an hour early. Was informed by the representative that "it will take two hours"...and after some further inquiries he mentioned "for the initial research into the problem" and an additional (unspecified) amount of time to do the repairs. We left the service center thinking it would take the whole day. Long story short it took 3 days and quite a bit of prompting from me to get answers from the service representative. My insurance was billed $435.00 and I was charged $650.00....now to be fair, my insurance company only would pay for "after-market" parts which I had to pay the difference for Chevy OEM parts....there was also my $100.00 deductible that was added to my portion of the bill. Chevy service added new break pads (that squeak now) and a new e-brake pad. I am not happy with the "lack of communication" provided to me by your service center. If I would have been informed that the time frame would be 3 days right from the beginning the large, painful and dry pill would have been easier to swallow. "Not having the parts in stock" was a terrible excuse for a service center even after I called a week in advance. More
