Service Center Disappointment Let me start by stating that when I purchased a Certified Preowned Silverado from Aransas Autoplex it was hands down the best buying experience that I Let me start by stating that when I purchased a Certified Preowned Silverado from Aransas Autoplex it was hands down the best buying experience that I have ever had, and I could not say enough positive about the experience. The first service was, however, quite the contrary. I scheduled a complimentary (per the sales contract) oil change and 2 recalls a week ahead of the appointment. When my wife dropped off the truck at the 8:30 appointment time there was confusion about the oil change, this got clarified. My wife then inquired about replacing a broken molding clip inside the fuel fill door, The response when shown was that they didn't know what that part was, and therefor they were unable to replace it. Luckily I am an intelligent owner, who does know what the part is, and thanks to the internet will purchase it myself. At 12:30 I called to check on the status of the truck. I was told that they were currently doing the oil change and then the would do the one (not two) recall. I was told that they did not order the parts for the second recall. After convincing the service tech (who obviously had no idea what work was to be performed) that they did not need parts, it was finally agreed that they would do all the scheduled tasks. When my wife picked up the truck she was incorrectly charged for the $62 oil change. I then contacted Scott, the service manager, explained my displeasure and it was agreed that the oil change would be refunded. After 7 days of receiving no refund I contacted Scott. He could not figure out what vehicle I own, yet I have only every bought or brought in one vehicle to any Chevrolet dealership, much less Aransas Autoplex. Two hours later I stopped by the dealership to find that not only was there never attempt at a refund, but after 7 days Scott left that day without so much as phone call let me know about progress. So finally 9 days after my appointment I was handed a check for the incorrectly charged oil change, and low and behold...It was made out to the wrong name. If Aransas Autoplex can not keep their records straight, then I have no faith that they can keep my personal information safe. The lack of honesty, knowledge, and costumer care leave me with no loyalty to a dealership that I have previously spoken highly of. More

When I still hadn't heard until after lunch, I called the dealership. I was told James was outside, but would call me as soon as he came back inside, After 30 minutes I called again, and was told he was waiting on another customer, but would call me back as soon as he finished. I called again 15 minutes later, and was told he would get the message to call me regarding my truck. I then got a ride from a co-worker to Aransas Pass , and went to the dealership. James Yde was in the service department and told me he was at lunch, so he couldn't return my calls, I guess he gets a 5 hour lunch. My truck was not fixed yet, but he was happy to inform me that they did have the parts, and would be ready in about an hour. I left the dealership at 3 p.m. with my truck and will never go back there for service. This was not the first time they failed to communicate, More
