They had ordered my tire so I drove on a spare for a few days. Not a big deal. I scheduled an appointment to have the tire replaced and tire rotation. After 1.5 hours of waiting my truck pulls around and my tires are rotated....with my spare still on the truck. They had no idea they were installing the new tire they ordered for me. another hour goes by and I decide to walk around back to check. My truck was coming off the lift, but they never used a torque wrench to finish off the bolts. I asked the guy before he drove it off why he didnt, and he explained he didnt know what a torque wrench was and that he didnt have one(odd). He them stated he would crank it down with a wrench "real tight" though. Absolutely not, they gave me my keys and I took it to Napa Autoparts where I bought a floor jack and a torque wrench. I then proceeded to correct it myself. I swore off thos service department. Now several years down the road, I mistakenly forget and come back for two more services. I brought my wife's 2017 Yukon Denali XL in due to a shaking problem when accelerating, oil change, and tire rotation. I was told it needed to be balanced and I was charged and extra $80. I was also told I needed new set of tires due to tread life. The tires have atleast 1/3 tread life left, so that was a scam to try to get my seemingly unknowing wife to spend more money. I questioned both and miraculously the charges disappeared. Next I bring my 2017 Sierra 2500 Denali in because I have a nail in the tire and I purchased a Wheel and Tire warranty when I bought both my vehicles. I also scheduled an oil change, tire rotation, and recall correction. After dropping my truck off, half a day later I get a call saying the nail is in the side wall (it wasn't), I was told I did not have tire warranty. Then I was asked if I still wanted to by the tire on my own, I said no I would rather go to Discount Tire where they actually honor the warranties they sell. Shortly after I call the dealership north of Dallas(Parkway Buick GMC) I bought the vehicles from and they very quickly emailed me my Wheel and Tire package paperwork. Great people. I then send it to this service center, to which I get a text 3 hours later that I was magically approved and tire was ordered. I was also told my truck would be ready the next day. So the next day I call and text to try to reach the service department and find out when my truck will be ready. No one answers or returns my call. I had my wife drop me off to find my truck parked in the lot, so I was thinking it had been done. I go inside to find out no one knows. After someone goes to look they say it's going to be done in 30 min. I look outside and someone is going to get my truck...here is to hoping they found out what a torque wrench is as I sit here wondering about my eventual (hopefully) drove home. The last two instances was with Salesman, excuse me service department employee Ashley. He tried to talk my wife into tires she didnt need, charge her for costs not our own, ignore my own tire protection plan to make me pay for a new tire (that I still question that it didnt need replacing) and I guess in spite ignored my attempts at contact and left my truck incomplete.... my repairs took way to long to get done , Also I was charge for a new set of keys $ 235.82 . No one told me at the time I made the appointment that I would have to pay anything at all. I did say that we did get the best insurance plain when we bought the truck there. If I do not get the charge put back on my credit I will never buy a car from you guys ,plus I will tell everyone not to do business there !! More
