Dropped vehicle off for scheduled service first thing Monday morning. Called to ask when I could pick it up and they informed me they don't do the type of diagnostics I scheduled the appointment for on M Monday morning. I have been dealing with a navigation problem since I bought the car - new. The dealer I bought the car from couldn’t solve the problem. I happened to walk by auto nation stopped in and described my issu bought the car - new. The dealer I bought the car from couldn’t solve the problem. I happened to walk by auto nation stopped in and described my issue to Ron and he was excellent. He asked me to bring in my car. He immediately had an idea what the problem was. I left my car and he had the work done as promised. I live in iowa but I will drive to auto nation for on going maintenance because of Ron and the superior customer service. More
Ron did a great job with explaining what Ford needed to look at prior to doing any repairs to my radio. It’s working 100% now and he didn’t have to do much at this point. I did find a repair for after version 3.4 was loaded and followed that from an F150 group and that really was the fix. The issue I had was Ron said I may have an hour to hour and a half wait that was fine. I went to check on my truck which was sitting just outside the service window and the desk person literally said, “ I don’t have the paperwork” another hour goes by and now my truck has been moved outside and she still didn’t have paperwork nor did it appear she had made an effort to maybe look into the situation she stated just a minute and went looking for paperwork and the truck. That’s pretty bad, given what had transpired not good at all. I know AN does better than this. Hopefully next time. More
