We experienced a very long day (~ 6 + hours) at your site last week due to lengthy diagnostics regarding our 2003 Mercury Mountaineer (replacing the alternator led to the discovery of a bad PCM....not in stock.) Since we were loaded down, with trailer in tow, on our way to move our eldest son back to UMD, it was wonderful that your team arranged for a full size F150 loaner for us to use. This was followed by a bad fuse regulating the left-rear tail light (discovered and replaced by my husband.) Next, that truck was needed back for sale before the part was in stock, so a replacement car was exchanged. We are now going over the numbers, attempting to make the best decision. James made the long day at the dealership as pleasant as possible, always keeping us informed as to the status of our vehicle. He checked on us while we were travelling the next day. Also, he and Dave have been in touch regarding the status of the part and information regarding the specifics of the new vehicle. We feel that he had been very honest and forthcoming with information, which is truly appreciated. He is the main reason we are following through with the purchase. We have also been in touch with Heather Steinhauer and she has been very nice and helpful (although I think we spoke to every sales consultant in the place last Friday.) I just was at Shakopee Ford last night for SYNC training with SYNC Specialist Kal Booth and he is a SYNC Specialist, he spent over an hour with me going through what SYNC could do to make my time in my new with SYNC Specialist Kal Booth and he is a SYNC Specialist, he spent over an hour with me going through what SYNC could do to make my time in my new EDGE all it could be. He started by finding out my comfort and knowledge level and then enhanced that part and then showed me many things that SYNC could do that I had no clue of. He answered my questions and made it very hands on which helps me learn faster and better then just being shown things. Shakopee Ford is doing it right by offering this free SYNC training and I recommend anyone with a Ford with SYNC to go through this training and if your car was bought at Shakopee Ford then you got the best teacher in my mind in Kal Booth. I would also make it a question at the Ford dealer you may go to and if they do not offer free SYNC training then it is worth your while to drive to Shakopee Ford to buy your new Ford with SYNC.
