In July of 2015 my old car was not Jared Osentowski who is a sales person at Apple Ford in Shakopee MN EXCEEDS and goes above and beyond his position. In July of 2015 my old car was not keeping up with my travel needs. I went to Apple Ford in shakopee and was helped by Jared. Jared is very professional, personable and helped me beyond my expectation. With my at the time poor credit, lack of job expirience and the beater vehicle I had I thought there was no chance of me getting approved for a new ford which I desperitely needed. Jared listened and understood my situation and jumped through every hoop possible to get me approved. Which he did! His commitment to my needs was very important to me. Once I was approved for my new Ford Focus he walked me through the entire vehicle, contract and warranty options. After I left that night in my new car Jared would email me periodically to check in and see how I'm liking my new Ford. Actually, the day after I bought the Focus it did break down due to a minor electrical issue, and while I was sitting on the side of the road Jared drove all the way out to get me while I waited for a tow truck And he drove me back to the dealership and got me hooked up with a loaner vehicle for the night until mine was fixed the next morning. I now days am continually returning to this dealership for routine maitinence. Litterally every time I pull up to the quick lane there's Jared walking out to greet me by name! Then always walks me in and talks with me while my Ford gets serviced. Like I said, Jared did 110 percent then he needed to, and makes my Ford expirience unbeatable. Horrible first Car Experience. My first car buying experience was with them 6 months ago (first one I had to take a loan out for). I was not impressed at all...I am not one who likes to spend money and they wanted everything I had. I am only 21 and I felt like they knew that and took advantage. I love my car but the service was horrible. Car had a crack in the windshield, cracked tail light, inside was super dirty and it had scratches on the exterior. I told them I wanted that all taken care of before I took my car home. It took 2 weeks to get my car and the crack in the windshield was filled and the car was vacuumed. When i got home I noticed the scratches weren't taken care of and there was sticky pop on the back leather seats as well as in most of the cup holders. I also have not received my spare key and it's been 2 months. I also noticed a few days after that my speaker did not work for my bluetooth. Due to the fact that I had bad service I do not even wanna go back to them to fix it as I HATE the fact that they'll argue it all and say because I didn't purchase the one package that they won't fix it. Good thing my dad is a mechanic and we both do body work. I love my car, but I wish my first car buying experience was more pleasant. Before going to dealerships I had done a lot of homework trying to decide what cars I was interested in. At one dealership I experienced an aggressive female salesperson. At a 2nd dealership the salesperson was a younger man who really wasn't too interested about working with me. I drove down to Apple Ford in Shakopee and was greeted by Mark Herman. Luck was in my corner that afternoon! He treated me like an intelligent person who wanted to buy a specific car, not a customer he could convince to buy more than she wanted. He explained the different items that were standard and those that were included as upgrades on the Ford Escape that I wanted. Since it's a one price dealership, I didn't need to haggle over a price. I was given a fair price on my trade in and also received a promotional discount. When I walked out of the dealership that afternoon I knew that I would be back to purchase the car that I wanted. The reason I had no doubt in my mind was because of Mark Herman. He treated me like a friend instead of a customer. A friend is truthful, helpful and looks out for my best interest.
