I have been experiencing trouble with my accelerator pedal not pressing down when it gets cold out and this morning it would not press down at all. I finally got it to free up, called the dealership and spoke to someone on the phone who said to bring it right in and they would get it in and out today. When I arrived at the service department, the service writers were helping other customers. I was waiting to be helped when Rick, a mechanic who was waiting to talk to a service writer asked me if I had been helped. When I said no, he proceeded to ask me what brought me in. I explained my problem with my 2007 Ford Focus. He immediately popped open my hood and explained what typically causes the problem. When the service writer, Denise was free to help me, he asked her to put a code in her computer for my particular car. Together they printed out the two options there were to fix the problem. One was to replace the throttle, or the other option was to clean the throttle. Since I plan to trade my car soon, I opted to try going the route with the cleaning, and pursue replacing the part only if necessary. Denise asked Rick if it was something he had time to do right away, and he asked her to have the car driven directly to his work station. Denise pointed me in the direction of the customer lounge and explained that she would find me when things were completed. Less than an hour, there she was and my car was finished. She walked me to the cashier and explained to me that if I decided to install the part at a future time, that all I needed to do was give her a call with the part number she and Rick provided me with and they would get me taken care of. Denise has been my service writer in the past and has always taken care of me. What a great personality she has! The total experience is what keeps me coming back to Apple Valley Ford. I live in Wisconsin and my warranty has expired. I could have gone to any of the dealerships between Apple Valley and my home, but I chose to drive the 60 minutes it takes to get to Apple Valley because of the service I receive. Apple Valley Ford is my dealership, and with quality staff like Denise, Rick and others on staff that have helped in the past, will have me as a customer for years to come! More
Adam provided great customer service and was extremely friendly while doing so. He got a rental car setup for me and provided calls with updates on my vehicle. We have always had our 2006 Focus serviced at Apple Valley Ford. Each time we are treated very well and all things related to our visit are explained in detail. Lately we have been using the quick lane and Justin Moorman is the representative we seem to see the most. On our last visit I wanted to check into extending our Easy Care program and was directed to Mark Berggren who helped me with the process and went beyond the expected help I thought I would receive, in a nut shell both these men are professional, knowledgable,very helpful, and an asset to Apple Valley Ford. As a dealership we have had only one major proble with our car and they took care of us in a timely manner and fixed the problem promptly. I would recommend Apple Valley Ford at any time. If we need another vehicle in the future Apple Valley Ford will be where we go. More
