I just purchased my 2019 Lincoln MKZ from Apple Valley Ford. I was completely satisfied with all aspects of my purchase. Bob Patterson was exceptional in bringing the deal together for me! I’ve only had my car for one day....but, absolutely love it so far! I would not hesitate to purchase future vehicles from Bob and Apple Valley Ford. More
Brought in Nov 2 to collision center. After lack of communication for 3 weeks, they say my car is done. Let's start Day 1: told collision center the issues I needed addressed at dealership for servi communication for 3 weeks, they say my car is done. Let's start Day 1: told collision center the issues I needed addressed at dealership for service, since it was next door. My original warranty was to expire in about 3 weeks from the first date of Nov.2. Day 35: collision center finally done with cars body work. But he needed to get the speaker i had requested for warranty repair. Called service, they couldn't get to it that day, but it would be done 1st thing tomorrow. Day 36: called to see if speaker was installed, and they let me know it was on order. xxx!?! Different than yesterday!! On top of it, they tried to have me pay for it, because it was now out of warranty. xxx?!? They knew about this nov. 2. Its now dec. 8. There has been 3 phone calls to me this entire time- I've had to call to get updates. I have now moved up the chain, have a Ford case #, and am in progress of taking this all the way up the ladder. Henry Ford would Not be proud of the customer service- or complete lack there of. I will be picking my car up (hopefully this week) and I will be going through it with a fine tooth comb. Rest assured, it better look better than the 1st day I purchased it!! Updates to follow. More
I chose Bob Patterson as my salesman after reading positive reviews on his business acumen. One particular review was about him helping a first time buyer who was female. I was impressed with the re positive reviews on his business acumen. One particular review was about him helping a first time buyer who was female. I was impressed with the review and called Bob. He answered the phone right away and got my contact information to call me back. From there we were able to text and email. I was able to do all business and did not have to drive to the dealership until I was ready to get my new truck. This was very handy for me as I live three hours away. All the staff at Apple Valley Ford were very helpful and accommodating! I had a very positive experience and I want to thank Bob for his grace and professionalism! Bob never pressured me and I felt relaxed the whole time and when I brought my family with to celebrate my first new vehicle purchase, Bob made it extra special! Thanks Bob! I have been impressed that the positive reviews I found on Bob held up for me and I too also had a positive experience! I would recommend Bob to anyone wanting to have a positive and low stress experience. Whenever I had a question, Bob was always able to give me a wise answer and I knew then that he helped that young lady diligently with here first time purchase. A true diamond. More
On 9/01/2020 Service dept. performed unauthorized work and charged $150.00. for a brake diagnostic after performing covered warranty work. In addition, outside of the warranty work (replaced brake booster) no repair was done. More
Yet another 1-Star rating So I get a recall notice for my wife's 2014 MKZ. I stop by AV Ford/Lincoln to schedule the service and to get the oil changed while it was there. I th So I get a recall notice for my wife's 2014 MKZ. I stop by AV Ford/Lincoln to schedule the service and to get the oil changed while it was there. I thought $70 for the oil change was a bit excessive but it included a complete inspection, tire rotation, fluid top up etc, and a health report so I thought it was worth the up-charge. While at the dealership, I spot a nice looking Continental; took a couple of pics to show to the wife and she thought it was a nice car too and worth a test drive. So I call the dealer and spoke to "J" who was on the floor at the time. For whatever reason, he could not or did not want the sale and passed me on to "R". I spoke to "R" for a while and told him my car will be there for service in a couple of days and I requested that he have his used car manager look my MKZ over while it was there and come up with a trade offer so we could do a deal on the Continental. He thought that was a good idea and we left it at that. Still waiting for his valuation. So the day comes to drop the car off for the service work. All went smooth and the people were nice. We cruised the lot so I could show my wife the Continental...she loved it. I then spent some time on their website crunching some numbers and evaluating the car. All good. Later that afternoon I get an email from "P" that reads in part: "We need your MKZ at Apple Ford Lincoln Apple Valley". This could have been an auto-generated email. I call "P" and mentioned that I am already dealing with "R" and am waiting for my trade valuation. He thanked me. Later on that day I get the call that the car is ready. I go to the cashier to settle up and I noticed that the Health and Inspection report that I paid for was not included. I requested it from the cashier and she tells me that "I was not entitled to it". Huh? Why not, I ask? She proceeded to insist that I was not entitled to it (even though its a line-item charge on my receipt). She was obviously not familiar with the service and hung her hat on the "not entitled to it" narrative. We left, it was late and we needed to get to another appointment and I figured I'd get it straightened out when I got a call from "R", the sales rep...remember him? As a side note; this special oil change service is called The Works and is promoted on their website. But for whatever reason I am not entitled to it. A few days later I get a phone call from "P" (I don't know if it was the same guy who sent the email a few days before) and he wanted to know about my experience with service but seemed more concerned that I give them "nothing but a 5 Star review". I proceeded to let him know where my heartburn was due to the oil change fiasco. He thoroughly agreed that I should have gotten the report and assured me he would make sure I got it. That was on June 27. I'm still waiting. Also I have not heard diddly squat from anyone in the sales department. Here I am, a qualified buyer, with a viable trade, cash in hand and ready to buy a Continental; and not a word from the sales dept. Business must be good. Its worth noting that two years ago, when we were looking to buy the MKZ, AV Ford had the exact car we wanted at a very competitive price. But due to a very weak sales guy, we drove a half hour and 30 miles out of our way to Minnetonka and bought the car there. AV Ford aren't the only game in town and don't have the market cornered, You have a choice. Note to the General Manager: You have coaching opportunities up and down the line. You should address them. At this point, both my wife and I have soured on doing business with AV Ford. Note to anyone reading this if considering doing business with these guys; take it for what its worth. This is my experience; your mileage may vary. More
Poor Customer Service After having purchased 6, yes 6 brand new vehicles from this dealership in the past 8 years, I have to say that I will not be coming back here ever ag After having purchased 6, yes 6 brand new vehicles from this dealership in the past 8 years, I have to say that I will not be coming back here ever again! I have been having trouble with my vehicle since day one and I have had it in the shop for this problem at least three times. Every time they tell me that they have fixed it and every time it does the same thing. I call into the service department 7 days ago and spoke with a service manager who told me that he would get back to me right away. I have yet to hear from him and this isn't the first time that I have been treated poorly! I am all done with you and very possibly done with Ford! Matt Warner is an awesome sales person and has never done us wrong but I cannot say the same for their service department! More

Worst dealership around. Don't go here. In 2016 I needed a new transmission for my Ford Focus. The transmission was slipping and car was shuttering. While my car was under warranty. Brought In 2016 I needed a new transmission for my Ford Focus. The transmission was slipping and car was shuttering. While my car was under warranty. Brought it to Apple Valley Ford twice while under warranty, both times I was told I needed a software update. I bring my car back with 105,000 miles on it. Was told I needed a new transmission, and they would be glad to do it for $3,000. I took it elsewhere and got a transmission installed for half the price. Apple Ford refused to admit any wrong doing. 2017 my car gets side swiped and I need a side view mirror. I call Apple Ford to see how much it would be. They said it would be about $500 for after market, not including the matching paint which was another $500. I found a used mirror at a parts store with matching paint for $80 and installed it myself in less than five minutes. Fast forward to present day. Looking at buying a new car. I contact Apple Ford online and text with Sean, asking a few questions. Sean ends up not replying for 3 hours and only replied then because I said I was no longer interested. A few days later my girlfriend and I go to look at the car I inquired about. We had Steve as our salesman. Steve said nothing to us about any details of the car. We had to ask him questions to get him to talk. The most he would say on the test drive was telling us where to turn. A couple days after that we came into the store again to attempt to buy the vehicle and trade in my vehicle. Mike comes and inspects my vehicle and says they'll offer my $500 for my vehicle. I was quoted trade in value $1,000 - $1,500 for other dealers. I can sell my car to a junk yard for more than $500. I walked out of the sale. This dealership has the worst customer service I've ever seen and I will never be going back. I went to a different dealership where I got the vehicle I wanted for $4,000 less listing and $2400 for my trade in. Glad I went elsewhere. More
