I was in the market for a 2014 Passat and ended up with a 2015 Passat at a much better price instead. The Dream Team really took great care of me. Karl is by far the best salesman (no joke). He is very knowledgeable, attentive and will not pressure you. Please ask for him on your visit to Antwerpen. More

Excellent car buying experience I've driven Volkswagens for years and since moving to Anne Arundel County, MD I've strictly done all my business with Antwerpen. Often times as a you I've driven Volkswagens for years and since moving to Anne Arundel County, MD I've strictly done all my business with Antwerpen. Often times as a young female the car buying process can be daunting at the least. Ray and the other staff at Antwerpen made me feel right at home; most importantly to me- I never felt rushed or pushed into a car that I didn't want. In fact, I was looking for a specific model, trim, color and interior not available in their inventory; within hours they located the exact car I was looking for and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I love my new car and would advise you to check out Antwerpen Volkswagen for your next vehicle purchase. More
"JACK DOES NOT SAY YES TO EVERY DEAL!!PRICE HAGGLE HEADACHE! Dear Jack Antwerpen, I will not be coming back to your dealership to buy that overpriced 2008 Kia Spectra which has been sitting on your lot for 3 Dear Jack Antwerpen, I will not be coming back to your dealership to buy that overpriced 2008 Kia Spectra which has been sitting on your lot for 3 months or so because it is not even worth the sales price of $7,100. It is high mileage for a 6 year old vehicle, not to mention the fact that the interior had some stains and wear on the front seats, and funny smell when you turn on the AC probably because it has been sitting all summer on this lot. I thought that I could negotiate a more fair price based on what other people are paying for this vehicle with such high mileage and the fact that the interior is not clean as one would consider in a car appraisal. My main concern is that this car was a rental when it was first purchased which does make a vehicle depreciate faster. Oh, and there was a 4 year maintenance gap on the car fax report. The car rental place didn't seem to maintain it well. I am thinking that one of the previous owners stained the interior. I tried to get a better deal, but I was told that they could not go lower on the price. That evening I call the Sales Manager, and he says that they cannot go any lower even after I tell him that even the comparable models at other dealerships in that price range had lower mileage, and I basically said that I felt that it was a high price considering everything. He basically lost my business after that point. An hour later, the GM calls me asking me about my experience. My salesman was very nice and professional which I do tell the GM. But I tell the GM that I was not a happy with the price whatsoever. I told him that I would be more opt to buy the vehicle if they threw in an extended warranty because it was high mileage and the factory warranty is now void. The GM did leave me a message the next day offering me a price of $7,900. I did not even bother calling him back because the whole negotiating deal honestly gave me a headache. Car buying should be fun and not so stressful. I am purchasing a used vehicle at another dealership with a courtesy warranty that is 3 months as opposed to your 30 day warranty. I did not have to play the price haggling game with this other dealership nor did they try to show me a car that they are desperately trying to sell. My purchase is an older car, but the mileage is very good and the car is in excellent condition. I hope that you will stand by your motto "Jack says yes to every deal" in the future. And that you treat cash paying customers with just as much respect as those who are financing a car. My salesman was very nice and professional, so I am not criticizing him at all (Mike, the new salesman). I will say that I did not like how the Sales manager thought that I was born yesterday. Just because I am a woman and I am not a mechanic, I know a shady deal when I see one. And an intelligent person does his or her research before they walk into a dealership such as True Market Value or Kelly Blue Book. I realize that a dealership has to make money, but people work hard for their money, and they do not wish to get ripped off or buy something that they really can't afford. Every customer should be treated with respect regardless of financial status or credit status. Please stop trying to rip off potential customers. I honestly thought that your dealerships were better than this. Sincerely, Poorly treated potential buyer More

After working back and forth on pricing, payments, terms, etc., it turned out that I needed a co-signer. I was able to obtain one, and got a "good news call" from Chris Zook. I was told that I was approved, etc., it turned out that I needed a co-signer. I was able to obtain one, and got a "good news call" from Chris Zook. I was told that I was approved, and that "Neil said the payments would be WAY under $400/mth" on the Jetta Se model with sunroof and convenience packages. Since I wanted to save as much money as possible, I then asked how much I would save by going with the lower SE model. I was told by Chris that the price of my car would be "about $900" more than the lower model. I stated that if it was only that much (or less than $20/mth) I would just go with the better model. Later, while at the dealership, Neil came in the office to "explain" how "hard it was to get the financing", but that he had "gotten it done". He said that it required the dealership to pay a "bank fee to VW credit" that THEY would "eat". I told him that I appreciated it. Then I asked the same question about the models, and he said the same as Chris- "only like a $900 difference". After waiting at least an hour to get in with the finance guy, Neil "accompanied" us to make sure to tell him that "he already went over the numbers with me". I should have known something was up at that point. My co-signer and I were literally RUSHED through the paperwork. The only number that the finance guy even spoke about in detail was the monthly payment, and how it related to the products HE would profit from- GAP insurance, warranty, paint sealant, etc. Unfortunately for me I was too wrapped up in being "under $400 month" (since without the co I would have been near $600), that I didn't slow him down and actually see what they had done to me. Since the manager had set me up to not worry about the price (stating that it was only $900 more than the lower model that sold for $19,888), it wasn't until after I left the dealership and looked at the paperwork later that night (it was a Saturday) that they had charged me FULL STICKER PRICE of $23,555!! Almost $4,000 more than the "lower model"!!! I immediately emailed the salesman and told him that I had been overcharged. I even said that I was sure it was "just a mistake", trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, when I heard back from him on Monday, his response was only "You were not overcharged. Please direct all questions to the Finance Manager". WHAT??? I knew then that I had been completely screwed by the old "focus on the payment" game, lied to about what I was paying, and bought from the wrong place. After several calls and emails to salesperson, managers, GM, and even Mr. "Jack Says Yes" Antwerpen, I haven't even received so much as an ANSWERED RETURN. NOTHING! Even a "haha we got you buddy" would be better than no response at all. This place is a complete scam dealership. They have "the game" down well, and they'll use it against you in every way possible. AVOID THE ANTWERPEN DEALERSHIPS AT ALL COSTS AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!! More

We were only concerned if we would fit; she's tall and I'm broad. We purely went to your dealership to see if we fit and I wanted to further evaluate the car, although I probably had done as much research as I ever had. What happened was an excellent presentation of all the features and the offer of a very good deal by Eric Crawford - so we made the leap and bought it. We also has excellent help from the business staff. Thank you. More
This was my first car buying experience and I must say I was truly blown away. From the first moment I walked onto the lot I was approached by friendly faces who introduced themselves and were happy to meet was truly blown away. From the first moment I walked onto the lot I was approached by friendly faces who introduced themselves and were happy to meet me. This was very unlike the experience I got from two other dealerships I visited beforehand. Scott pulled a great deal together to put me in the car that is right for me; exactly what I wanted, and exactly the price I wanted. He has a great team and under his leadership made me feel extremely comfortable and satisfied in the decisions I was making. Really went the extra mile at every turn - I must say this was not an easy deal. One thing that really struck me is how when my father asked where the bathroom was, he wasn't just told where it was, he was shown there. So it's not just the big things that Antwerpen hooked up, it was all the little things to. I drove off smiling and ecstatic with the windows down (despite 90 degrees), blasting music in the car I've earned and deserved as a fresh college graduate now working 60+ hour weeeks! Thank you Antwerpen! I would recommend you (and a Volkswagen) to all of my friends looking to buy a new car. More
