The staff is the best that I've seen at any dealership for any brand. Robin and Chris get me the best deal on finance. Additionally, the Antwerpen service department is also the best I've ever seen, at any brand. I work with Erick to buy a car. I work with the service department to maintain the car. After six cars, service gets better every time. Kudos to Jackie for running the best in the business. At some point, when you decide to buy a car, the little things kick in. The Service in Service Department is not for customer servic I have owned seven Volkswagens, and currently own three. This is the only Volkswagen dealership that I continually have issues with the service depart I have owned seven Volkswagens, and currently own three. This is the only Volkswagen dealership that I continually have issues with the service department; and I will not return once I get my car back. I purchased an extended warranty from the dealership when I bought this VW, and I brought the car to the dealership to have them check the airbag warning light, suspension problems, a vibrating side mirror, backup camera issues, and moisture in the ventilation system. I was told I may be charged one diagnostic fee ($135) but it would be waived if any work was to be done by them. I was contacted a couple days later that only the suspension was going to be covered by the warranty and when I asked about it I was told by the customer service rep said I could contact fidelity warranty directly and discuss the issue with them. The rep emailed me the number for Fidelity and I called them; the Fidelity rep said that the issue should be covered and you have no record of them asking about any of the items except for the suspension, which they had approved. I called Antwerpen back to let them know and the service rep said he understands that I'm trying to get my car repaired for free but they have already called Fidelity twice about my car. When I stated that the repairs aren't free since I paid for the extended warranty and that I only called fidelity because he suggested it, he backed down and said he would call Fidelity back and check with them. The next morning I got an email from the service department letting me know that my service rep there's no longer working there and I was assigned a new rep. He emailed me later stating that the issues with the car or not covered by the warranty and that if they wanted me to troubleshoot the items further that they would charge me $135 for each item being diagnosed as well as charged me for the mirror if they break it while trying to figure out why it's vibrating. I went down to talk to him in person since that seemed unreasonable, he told me that I had to pay the additional costs if the work was going to be investigated to see if it can be covered by the warranty because his guys don't work for free. I told him that the dealership should pay the workers but should provide the diagnostics as originally agreed when I turned the car in. He said the guy that told me they would do the diagnostics is no longer working there so therefore they don't have to honor that and said I could have the car back if I have a problem with that. I gladly said I would take my car back; I'm still waiting for them to finish the suspension. I dropped my car off with them four days ago. Their service department has never been very good but has been getting progressively worse as of late. Even though I live down the street, I will not be returning to this place for anything. They have a giant banner hanging in the service department that says Maryland's number one customer service 2017. Instead of trying to convince people that their customer service is good because of a banner, they should try to convince them with good customer service. More
