Derrick provided great customer service in allowing me to test drive two Cross Atlas SE SUVs and I picked the white one. I told him my interest in leasing the vehicle and we proceeding to run credit. About 15/20 mins later, I was told by Steve that it would only be advantageous to buy the vehicle instead of leasing since the lease program money factor did not have favorable rates. On top of that, I was then told they would not honor the online price, but add an additional $2,500 to the MSRP due to current market prices. I understand, but this was not explained until after pulling a hard credit pull, in which my credit is exceptional. Furthermore, my monthly quotes were only based on a 5% rate even before sending to any banks. Again unheard of, especially when my credit was already pulled. Waste of time and waste of a credit pull without receiving all true information about the sale upfront. Buyer beware. More

I have been buying cars for over 40 years and this was the smoothest process from beginning to end. More specifically I would like to give high praise to Mr. Johnson. Not only was he extremely genuine and a gentleman to boot, but also a true professional. I walked in to Antwerpen yesterday intent on leaving there with the 2018 Tiguan I seen online and thanks to Mr. Johnson it happened. His attentive to my needs, no games and being extremely polite was far superior to that of the salesman that I encountered at other local dealerships. His approach was quite relaxed and there was no pressure from him at all. After doing my homework and shopping around I knew the deal that I needed to make things work for me at Antwerpen. At no time did I have to go to the mat with Mr. Johnson to get that deal. Mr. Johnson and his manger (big shout out to Steve) found a way to make it work for me in my favor and I couldn't have asked for much more than that. Not only did I get to leave Antwerpen with an extremely nice 2018 Tiquan, but I also left with my dignity still in tact thank to my wonderful car buying experience. Thank you Mr. Johnson!
