This is a review of my visit to Antwerpen Hyundai of Catonsville on June 14 2022. I brought my Hyundai Santa Fe Sport in for a scheduled 12:00 appt to have ABS recall service performed. Six (6) hours later, due to service staff incompetence (Patrick), the work was still not yet performed and my keys were misplaced, causing added wasted time at the dealership. I had to set up another appt, which required me taking additional work time off, to have repair done correctly and in a timely manner. Eventually, on the 2nd visit, the situation was made right by Matt Martin (Service Manager) and Rick Poppe (Service Advisor). I am awaiting the coupon for a free tank of gas I was promised for my time by the former Service Manager, Chris Murray, who left the Antwerpen organization. Matt Martin took his place, but was out of the office on my 2nd visit for the birth of his child. More
I came in for an oil change. I also viewed and drove a potential new car. I was there for HOURS. Rick was was honest and professional about when my car would be completed. I could not pick it up the same day due the time it was completed but I was able to pick it up the next morning would be completed. the shuttle pick up took a lot longer than was communicated to me. From the time that my vehicle was finished and shuttle supposedly being sent to me, took 1.5 hours to arrive at the dealership!! communicated to me. Service Dept: I arrived at the service dept about 20 mins earlier. I was asked by the outside attendant to leave my FOB in the car. I felt uncomfortable, I would normally give the Fob to the service age mins earlier. I was asked by the outside attendant to leave my FOB in the car. I had waited over 15 mins in front of Rick. No reply,greeting or eye contact!!("I did not exist") Finally, Daniel took my information. He stated, that the complimentary oil change / tire rotation waiting period will take 2 hours. I waited over 1 hour. I have decided to reschedule the complimentary service. Regards, More
