First time, and never again. I usually go to the dealership in Bowie but I just recently moved to the Catonsville area and needed to get my oil changed. I lease my vehicle and have a service plan so I never pay for anything. I get to the dealership and everything seemed fine, unfortunately an hour in the service rep approaches me. He said that the previous mechanics tightened my wheel locks too tight and they couldn't get them off and it broke their tool. Mind you I ONLY go to dealerships to get my car services since I have a service plan. So I'm standing there thinking "How is this my problem? This is why I come to a dealership to avoid things like this". The service representative takes me back to the car to see what he meant, the mechanic shows me the tires and the tool that is broke. The key is broken inside the wheel lock, and the tool is attached to a power drill. The service rep starts talking to me about the cost for time to break off the lock, the cost to purchase new wheel locks and the cost of the tool. At this point I was shocked that now they are going to try and charge me for damage they caused.Ive been getting my car service at the Bowie dealership and have NEVER had such a problem or been charged for "extra time". I go back out and call the bowie store, and they informed me that they only tighten wheel locks by hand as using a power tool will break the lock. Given that i just saw the power drill the mechanic used I told the service rep what bowie said. He replied with " yea we do it by hand too". right then and there I was done, I literally just saw the tool ON A POWER DRILL. I told him to leave it and I would take it to the bowie dealership. They finished my car and I headed over to the Bowie dealership. I got there and within 30 minutes they had got the wheel lock off and replaced it with a regular nut. NOT ONCE did they even hint at charging me to do this service. I will NOT be returning to this location. ** I also purchased a piece for my door handle, would be told they would call me on Monday when the piece got in. (I visited on a Friday (02/03/17)) Today is now 02/16/17 and I have heard NOTHING! This is by far the worst dealership I have ever been too! More
Unreliable I bought a car here a few months ago and just took it in for my first oil change. I went here because Hyundai sent me a coupon for this specific locat I bought a car here a few months ago and just took it in for my first oil change. I went here because Hyundai sent me a coupon for this specific location. I made an appointment online and when I arrived I was told it would be an hour. Given that I wasn't in a rush, I decided it was fine to wait. All other customers waiting for their car said it's always at least an hour for oil changes and that they don't even bother to vacuum the car. On that particular day, every one in the waiting room waited at least two hours for their car. My car also has a recall for the passenger side airbag system, a minor fix which I was assured would take 15 minutes, but the dealership didn't bother to fix it. Good thing I don't have passengers very often! More

Some how the ABS system locked up which meant we could not drive the car due to them not having a part. It took 6 days for the part to be delivered. The manager did not follow up to find out as to why the long wait. He kept making excuses that it was coming from the Midwest. The customer service staff at the service desk are not professional at all. Gave me a key to a rental car without instructing me as to where the car would be. So many other things went down. I will NEVER bring my car to this place again. Received a call from I guess the main customer service because of our 0 rating. Gave her the details and haven't heard back from the woman. More

We started talking and before you knew it I had leased a 2015 Tucsan (fully equipped for only $65.00 more than my present monthly payment. Mr. Smith was most helpful and I will refer others to him. He is very interested and patient! More
Worst SERVICE DEPARTMENT experience!!! I came in for a tire repair and oil change, which to my surprise 2 days earlier after a blowout, that the newer editions have no spare tires(no Sales I came in for a tire repair and oil change, which to my surprise 2 days earlier after a blowout, that the newer editions have no spare tires(no Sales Rep mentioned this- even tho my older Hyundai came with one). Waited 3 hours in service department for them to tell me they do not have my tire in stock, and that the rim($450+) needs to be changed as well. I knew the rim did not not need repair and asked them to show me exactly where the rim was bent/comprimised, and the two technicians could not show me anything wrong with it either on the exterior/interior parts of the rim. I know the tech did not change the oil because the tag telling you when the next oil change is due has the same date on it. Called the GM, Michael antwerpen, to discuss this and have yet to hear from . I will never recommend to anyone to purchase a vehicle from this dealership in the future. I had the tire repaired in a half hour across the street at NTB for much less, and their inspection also showed no rim damage. This is exactly where dealership service departments get their bad reputation. POOR SERVICE!!! More

But when its time to service the car and honor the warranty's they try to get over on you and nobody has answers. Then when they do answer its with a very disgusting attitude. On May 31,2013 I had my 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe serviced for a factory recall and My rear brakes were making noise. The problem was my rotors had grooves that looked like a vinyl record. They gave me excuse for a factory recall and My rear brakes were making noise. The problem was my rotors had grooves that looked like a vinyl record. They gave me excuses like the vehicle sits, you have no mileage for a 2009. I drive 5 miles each way to work the vehicle does not sit. I wanted the rotors replaced because they are defective from the factory. The brake pads had plenty left . Rotors should not be worn like this at 26400 miles. They milled them down but would not replace them. Thats taken money out of my pocket. REMEMBER....JACK SAYS NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
