I came in towards the end of October for my 90k mile maintenance and to have my intake manifold checked because it was causing the check engine light to come on. So I was told the plug had come out maintenance and to have my intake manifold checked because it was causing the check engine light to come on. So I was told the plug had come out and they plugged it back in. Apparently they didn't check to see if that caused the check engine light to come on because it came back on as soon as I left. (I had another auto repair shop previously use one of those hand held diagnostic devices on my car and 3 intake manifold errors came up). I came back about 3 weeks later to have them take a deeper look at the manifold and this time they determined that it was bad and needed to be replaced. The service adviser also determined that my valve cover gasket was leaking (was replaced there when I came in for the 90k maintenance), the fuel needed flushing (also done on the 90k) and the spark plugs needed changing (also done during the 90k). This is why people prefer not to go to dealerships for repairs. This service advisor was just making up stuff to jack up the price. How can you explain him not even checking to see these repairs were done not even a month ago? More
